That's what you were told...but Orientation is not a prerequisite for Matric number. I didn't attend at all, and I was given Matric number. Make sure you complete your registrations at exam and record, if you do that you're guaranteed a matric number.

If you're new to higher Institution, it maybe necessary to attend. But if you're used to Higher Institution, you don't need to attend.

Expect your Matriculation number few days to or after your matric. But I think you'll be given a student code for now, that you'll use for your registrations and others.

I think theirs is different bro. heard their mat. no. is on their skul fee receipt

Anyway, the old hostel has 2 blocks. block A is 6 per rum(2 storey building), B is 8(a storey building)... water runs... 4 kitchen per floor, abt 4toilets and 4 bathrooms per floor too... 2 common rooms per block, each block has a shop where u can buy provision and sm oda stuffs. Block A has a canteen. and there are cleaners wu take care of d toilets every working day so, it ain't dat bad bro @ nunushokoto

Guys..i don't tink all 5 copies would be signed by one staff... Normal procedure has it dat ur HOD,admissions officer,school officer and odas are gonna sign ur forms...so rule out every tot dat all would be signed by one person...hope dis helps sha.. I quote "To be completed in quintuplicate(5 copies).." English.....____TO BE COMPLETED not TO BE SUPPLIED...dat means u av 2 fill 5 copies ..and take to different offices...

Actually, there are some forms ull av to make copies of b4 filling coz u'll submit dem at different places but sm personal documents like waec and jamb results might b photocopied after u get d signature of an exams and record officer on dem to avoid double photocopying

All newly admitted candidates into the Federal University of
Agriculture, Abeokuta are expected to follow the following procedures
for registration:
1. Go to portal.unaab.edu.ng
(i) Fill the acceptance forms
(ii) Print the completed Acceptance Form
(iii) Download and print the following registration forms;
a. 2014/2015 fresher’s clearance form
b. Eligibility/verification form
c. Personal data form
d. Sponsor’s form
e. Declaration against cultism form
f.Verification certificate form
g. Medical form (1st published by Funaab Juice)
2. Proceed to your respective College to see the Examinations and
Records Officer for the verification of the entry qualification(s) on
which the admission was based. If credentials are found to be in order,
the College Schedule Officer will issue a Compact Disc (CD). If not,
examinations and records officer will refer candidate to Deputy Vice-
Chancellor (Academic) for further necessary actions.
3. Return online to portal.unaab.edu.ng after 24hours to generate
school fees invoice.
4. Proceed to the designated banks with your School Fees Invoice to
pay Prescribed Fees and collect evidence of payment.(1st Published by
Funaab Juice)
5. Return online to portal.unaab.edu.ng to generate your receipt, fill
your course registration forms and print.
6. Proceed to your College Accountant to authenticate your receipt.
7. Proceed to the Department with your course registration forms for
verification, registration and submission.
8. After the clearance and Registration at the Department, return to
the Examinations and Records Office with (i) Duly signed and stamped
departmental clearance (ii) Receipt for payment of prescribed fees and
(iii) Other completed forms itemized in (1) above for endorsement.
Thereafter, the College Schedule Officer will issue an Eligibility
Certificate to duly cleared and registered students.
9 Other registration formalities at the Student Affairs Unit, the Library
and the University Health Centre will run at the same time with the
Departmental Registration. (1st Published by Funaab Juice)
10. Eligibility Certificate obtained from the Examinations and Records
Office is to enable students sign Matriculation Register at the College.
11. Attendance at the Orientation Programme which is slated to hold
between Monday Dec. 15 – Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 is compulsory for all
fresh students as this will be the prerequisite for the allocation of
Matriculation Number.
Note: Hostel accommodation is limited and available on first-come-first
serve basis for interested applicants. Payment of School fees is a
