Bros calm down nau. All this further maths just to calculate how to carry people . The time I will spend solving all this maths in the front line as a commander two things would have happened; 1. The victims will have all died 2. The remaining of us alive would have been bombed too. Make Army take their time o, I no wan see this kind thing. God abeg.. Mugiwaraluffy: Just find the option that's faster. Distance = 6000km = 6000000m V(jet) = 200m/s V(bus) = 30m/s Velocity = distance/ time Time = distance/ velocity Time for a journey with the jet = 6×10⁶ / 200 = 30,000s 1hr = 3600s xh = 30,000s Xh = 30,000 / 3600s Xh = 8.3hrs
It'll take the jet 8.3hrs to make a trip. Now we have 30+ injured victims 30 / 6 = 5 trips Total time taken = 8.3 × 5 = 41.5hrs
Now we have a bus that can accommodate 22 people per trip And travels at 30m/s Velocity = distance/ time Time = 6×10⁶/ 30 Time = 200,000s = 55.5hrs And the bus will have to go twice = 111.1hrs
I think the value for the distance is too much. But both the jet and the bus will waste time unless the bus will provide medic then it might save more people due to large number of it can carry per trip.
In this case, the jet is faster. |

Hi, Nairalanders.
I graduated from the University 3years ago and ever since I have been going through the almost same experience most young graduates in Nigeria face today in their quest to landing that "dream job". But my sad story is that the dream job theory isn't yet reality.
Now I'm faced with the options of starting a small business and going for a 6months solar energy training. The later is an industry I see and read about a lot, but I don't know if it's as lucrative as papers/articles present it to be.
Please I need advise, due to financial and time resource constraint I can't pursue the two.
