Nonetheless download a very small app called QUICK Boot... From playstore...

Open it and click on recovery..

U should find yourself in recovery mode once you have root access

Mhen, The overheating is an issue, it prompt to remove battery when hot and sometimes as if, if I don't remove the battery on time, the phone would xplode lol. I actually asked you about how I could update in one other thread but the update I got to take care of the overheating refuse upgrading, always tells me failed. I think I should just port another ROM.

Make a backup.. Flash another rom and if the symptoms persist..

Hold your fone hardware as responsible but probably firmware ish..

Gaming hard can cause hotness.... 3G MODE most times a probable suspect... Same unnecessary apps can also be responsible...

Troubleshoot your fone first..
