I understand what you’re saying but I alone have a firsthand experience with my landlord. He has increased rent twice in 2 years and this renovation isn’t renovation at all. It’s a ploy to increase rent again. This isn’t my only shop. I don’t experience this in other shops and I’ve been there for years.

Dear Nairalanders,plz I need a little bit of advice. So I’m occupying a shop which the rent has expired since June. I’m reluctant to renew cuz I feel my landlord is up to something cuz he’s asking for 6 months instead of the 1year rent.
