I go with alert. When i see alert i will know their conclusion. |
Prayer is good but faith without work is dead. Prayer without action is frustrations and confusion. We need more action towards freedom from our greedy, selfish, insensitive, unproactive and unconcerned leaders who focus more on amassing wealth to themselve and keeping the people in abject poverty by manipulations in the name of politics. In Nigeria today those who are hungry are fighting for and defending those who are eating their food, while still crying for hunger...no be juju be that? |
Bobrisky arrested again. |
Thundafireseun:Yes on personal account. |

He is killing his political ambition gradually. What concern you with unrealistic, allow the governor he has his plan...and know what is in Lagos State account. |
Thundafireseun:I know a POS Operator who is in court over these same issue with is 3 million frozen. Though the criminal have said he is not part of them...they only use is POS to collect 10,000 not knowing the transafer account is been tracked. |

If they all drop God fatherism and state control and give respect to whom respect is due in their leadership hirachy without selfish interest, hatred or greed, they will be fine as one... but i fear the heart of man...that why is important that even in the face of peace you must not loose gaurd. |
bixton:How? I expect court to teach the individual how to uphold the rule of law in any case that come before it. Not give injunction and counter injunction or order against order. Even if someone come with money as in bribe to avert justice he or she should be disgrace before the court if possible or the judges should not compromise but punish the individual. Nigeria Justice System Need Reform. Even though the individuals are part of the problem..the biggest problem is the judiciary. |
Gunshots rang out and properties were set ablaze in Ikwerre LGA on Monday, following the announcement of the weekend's local government election results. Tensions escalated when some youths stormed the LGA secretariat, shortly after police unsealed the premises, protesting the resumption of the newly elected chairman. The protesters, angered by the election outcome, attempted to halt the chairman’s resumption, leading to a chaotic scene of violence and destruction. What do you think about this unfolding situation in Ikwerre LGA? Was the election process flawed, or is this just political rivalry playing out? Share your thoughts! Over the weekend, the Rivers State Local Government election was held under tense conditions, with a backdrop of ongoing political conflicts between the Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Nyesom Wike, and the Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara. The election was mired in controversy due to conflicting court orders and the absence of security operatives. The Action Peoples Party (APP), widely believed to be aligned with the Rivers State Governor, emerged victorious in 22 out of 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs). Amid these tensions, gunshots were reported in Obio Akpor LGA, Ikwerre LGA and Eleme LGA allegedly in an attempt to stop the resumption of the newly elected chairman. Despite these challenges, the elected chairmen were swiftly sworn in on Sunday, sparking widespread reactions across the state. What do you think of the recent developments? Are these signs of more political drama to come, or will this usher in a new era for Rivers State politics? Let’s discuss! Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeHXs1wYVpo?si=Zw69bv_uohU2pAaN

iLoveYouToo:Fubara is not the control type. Politics is full of suprises and most time they are prepared. |
ObosiLandlord:As per the Law it will hold no water, there will be loophole or way of manipulations. If the oga at the top can enter with wayo what do ypu expect...what we need to kill is corruption. Our leaders are CORRUPT, I MEAN VERY VERY CORRUPT AND GREEDY. No law can work in a corrupt system. |
bixton:The court is the problem how can they solve a problem they caused. |
On one hand you said you are barred from the election by court rule...which means commot body and that made you to withdraw all government house police. On the other hand you said you sent operational officers to go and protect the RIEC over night as a good and professional officer....( without informing the governor)... with this action, are you unbarring yourself from the court order or playing with peoples intelligence. I dont really understand that aspect of overnight security and withdrawal of police same time. |
Papparassi:PDP dont know what they are doing to themselve, always confuse behaving like Nicodemus, by the time APC or PDAPC take over they will cry. All the whole confusion is toward 2027 and only one beneficiary in focus....oga at the top. |
APC and PDP are now one under Tinubu Government. This Marriage is good for Nigeria Politics as long as APC paid all the Bride Price of PDP. Because that will make APC remain the head of the family without permutation and combination. |
The same protesters will vote that day. Most of the people always collect from both side because of hunger. |
samplebrown:That is the point. I think is goal is not second term, is to be incharge of his tenure as a governor without interference since he will give account of his everything that happen in his tenure. Moreover, i also think the plan of impeacement gave him that moral to put his two feet on the ground to avoid disgrace which made things to fall apart. Like you said, i agree with you he has nothing to loose from every point . People see him as capacity governor. |
SmartPolician:Hmm. All i see is once the election hold is over, no matter what happens. i think rivers are use to their thing. The battle is to make sure it hold while they settle any grievance in court. |
The Dominican Republic has recently ramped up efforts to curb illegal immigration from Haiti, leading to the capture and deportation of many undocumented individuals. With the ongoing economic and political instability in Haiti, more people are crossing the border in search of better opportunities. However, the Dominican Republic is facing its own challenges, such as unemployment and limited resources, making this a highly sensitive issue. While some view these actions as necessary for protecting the Dominican Republic’s sovereignty, others argue that the government should approach this with more empathy, considering the dire circumstances in Haiti. The tension is rising, and both nations are struggling to find a balance. What are your thoughts on this? Should the Dominican Republic continue its crackdown, or is there a better way to handle the situation? Share your opinions below.
