Its simple the way forward is usually for the town crier to summon the elders! This i did waking up early this morning, even begging the Mod to unban villageGOAT one of the great chiefs of of the elders council. But since they've all absconded we may need to consult and select new elders to pilot the affairs of the village. If not this commotion will continue!.... My interest although was caught on when you said you called one of the state secretariats..I decided to fish out the lagos nysc secretariat,I just placed a call and the man that answered me said they are still hoping that between now and tomorrow we should have a response....
It sounded very cliché to me,like maybe he just told me that to get me off his case/line.then i told him that we the youth are very worried and concerned because of the plenty postponement rumou going round..He said yes there are so many rumours but that we should ignore and keep calm.I went ahead to ask if camp still holds on the 21st...and he said "Ofcourse YES na"...
I suggest we all stay calm and keep the hope alive...
Feel free to call any of the secretariats....
Let's keep disturbing this people till they relay the issue to authorities concerned...

just called one of the state offices, a lady answered,crossriver to be precise,she said the are waiting for FG to release money and that if the do,people posted to IDP states will be the one's to go on Saturday cos of the state's insecurity, and that the are going as stream1,when the come back stream2 will now go.

I dont believe that because no camp held in idp states they were taken to other states and deployed to other states.

some positive news from one of the NYSC state service secretariat that no information of any postpoment has been made available to them and there have been given the list of stream 2 corp members to serve in their state and we may likely print our CUL on Tue or Wednesday. please everyone should try and call. just click the state services on NYSC site you will see the various state secretariat and their numbers.

I followed 2015 Batch A thread.... And I wasn't mobilised.... I moved to 2015 Batch B.. Still, I wasn't mobilised... Things went well and smooth... Finally, I got mobilised, I joined Batch A thread.... Hoping to be in stream1 and it wasn't feasible... Here I am in Batch A stream11...believing that, I'll be witnessing Batch B of 2016.....

I can't imagine how long I've been on Nairaland reading infos concerning NYSC.... It's becoming boring and tiring!

As the last town crier of the village (since the new comers refused to take up their role)
Here goes the melodious sound of my gong which i gave to one of the newcomers(can't remember his name) and he abandoned both the gong and the stick at the foot of the iroko tree at the village square .. What a shame..(shakes head).

Strange things are happening, the goats are not bleating like goats again! niether the birds singing as birds anymore.
Hence the need to summon the council of the elders.
This is a call for all the Maxis and the other Chiefs who have gone into hiding to resurface and provide guidance for this village. A lot of a strangers and new comers are coming in daily without guards at the gate to collect fees and taxes...
