In May, one of our ardent readers who resides in California shared his own take on the behavior of Google fully autonomous cars among other drivers and road users in the state. In his piece, which, of course, went viral after we published it, the Californian resident wrote that Google driverless cars drive like your grandma. That's because ''they're never the first off the line at a stop light, they don't accelerate quickly, they don't speed, and they never take any chances with lane changes'' and drive slowly at locations where they can't see clearly in order to get their bearing right, according to the poster. However this act sometimes piss off other drivers because Google cars cause traffic congestion. And one of them was pull over on Thursday for this same reason. Mountain View Police Department revealed in a blog post Thursday that one of its traffic police ordered a Google self-driving car that was being tested on Californian roads to move to the side of the road for driving 25 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone and, as a result, the driverless electric vehicle was building up traffic as other cars waited behind for it to go. In other words, the Google car was driving slowly. - According to the MVPD, the officer noticed traffic stacking up behind a white koala vehicle. So he walked up to the vehicle responsible for this but realized it was a Google self-driving car that was the real culprit. He then pulled over the Google autonomous car and spoke with the safety driver to learn more about how the car was choosing speeds along certain roadways and to educate the operators about impeding traffic per 22400(a) of the California Vehicle Code. ' The Google self-driving cars operate under the Neighborhood Electric Vehicle Definition per 385.5 of the California Vehicle Code and can only be operated on roadways with speed limits at or under 35 mph. In this case, it was lawful for the car to be traveling on the street as El Camino Real is rated at 35 mph. Google itself confirmed the incident in a post on its project handle on Plus and noted that human drivers get away with this crime.Google also said that it decided to make its car that drive themselves at 25 MPH for security reasons(like being approachable). It also boasted that officers like the one that pull over its car on Thursday do so when they want to learn more about +Google Self-Driving Car Project . ![]() Credit http://www.wearobo.com/2015/11/a-traffic-police-pull-over-google.html#sthash.CGm7XmEt.dpuf

Watch out Apple,Samsung and all of you whose handsets run its operating system! Google is considering building new Android smartphone from the ground up just like its prototype fully autonomous vehicles. Google is already known for designing, marketing and supporting its Nexus range of smartphones manufactured by some Original Equipment Manufacturers(or OEM) such as Huawei, HTC,LG and even Samsung. However,Reports have it that the search king is in the process developing its own ''Google Android smartphone'' from scratch. Such a move could see the company compete favorably with its partners that build their mobile devices on its Android platform. The news of Google's intention to make its own Android-powered handset was first reported by the the Information. ![]() Source: http://www.wearobo.com/2015/11/google-is-making-its-own-android.html

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9I5WylWtkaE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> How would you react after calling the cops that you saw someone 'dragged' a kid inside the trunk of a car, only for the cops to arrive at their place, looked at the car's trunk and then burst out laughing? Weird right? that's what happened recently in the US. An anonymous fellow quickly alerted the police after seeing a driver puts a child in the rear of a car. The unnamed fellow perhaps thought the child had been kidnapped because where the driver puts the kid was 'in the boot' a different spot entirely. But unknown to the good Samaritan that car turned out to be a Tesla Model S all-electric luxury vehicle with the $1500 optional third row seats for children that are 37-inches tall, and they are positioned at the car's giant hatchback. So the policemen drove to the residence of the driver to check what was going on. Waited for the driver of the Model S to step out, and when he did...the man went straight to the rear of the car and pulled out a little girl out of the car's trunk. Of course, the officers were amazed when they found that there are three seats in there. Watch the video above. ![]() Nevertheless the officers did their job pretty well by still asking for their identification even after realizing it was not a child abduction. And the parents of the little girl conducted themselves very well. ![]() credit: http://www.wearobo.com/2015/11/videothis-is-what-happens-when-your.html

Richard Branson(CEO of Virgin Group) and Tony Fernandes(AirAsia Group CEO) wagered on their Formula 1 racing teams, each man betting his own team would finish ahead of the other's in the 2010 Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi. The loser would have to serve as a female flight attendant on the winner's airline. Branson Lost the Bet !!! So he did it. You have seen Alphabet autonomous cars. You have Audi's self-driving cars and even Tesla's. But have you seen Nissan self-driving car ? OK, maybe you just did. Pictured below with Nissan Motor Co. CEO Carlos Ghosn is the Intelligent Driving System, or IDS for short. It is the Japanese automaker own take on the future of driving and, as with other cars of the future, this one is fully equipped with all the technologies needed to drive by itself:laser scanners, 360 degree camera ,laser sensors, sonar sensors and computer chips. The Nissan IDS Concept is a self-driving electric car that has a carbon-fibre body and does not produce pollution at all. This might just be the car you will drive in five years time.In fact Nissan thinks all cars of the future--including the ones from Google,Tesla,Audi,Honda,Mercedes etc-- should look exactly like its IDS concept car. It uses a 60 kilowatt-hour battery that can go as far as 200 miles on a single charge, has wireless charging technologies and piloted park that allows you to automatically park this beauty with a smartphone as well as seats that rotate to allow you and your friends have a 'swell time' together while Artificial Intelligence in the car handles the driving. There is an LED on the sides of the vehicle(Nissan calls it the Intention indicator) that shines white when the IDS senses that someone--say a pedestrian or cyclist-- is close by. In other words, it is the car's own way of saying it is aware of what's going on around it.There are also displays that convey messages clearly to them. The Nissan autonomous car can say ''Good Morning!'' when you hop in or ''After you.'' It can even say to pedestrians ''Go ahead, I will wait for you to cross!'' Simply put the Nissan self-driving car is a friendly guy. The IDS has two drive modes: Manuel Drive mode and Autonomous(Piloted) drive mode. Manual mode simply allows you be in control of the car and take full responsibility if anything happens--just like you drive your car right now.Although the car can intervene if a situation is beyond your control, at least to avoid danger. Also, in manual mode, all four seats automatically face forward, interior lighting turns blue and a heads-up display that shows route and other driving information shows up. In Piloted mode, the Nissan IDS concept takes the driving completely from you. It still mimics the way you drive your regular car. Oh,You will love how its steering wheel move back into the centre of the instrument panel and a large touchscreen comes out to replace it when the driver selects piloted mode. Kindly watch the video above to see this in action. Furthermore,Once the driver switched to Piloted Drive, the Al takes control of all driving-related operations and all four passengers can sit face to face and do whatever they want inside the car. As Nissan puts it, ''it is like relaxing in a living room.'' Nissan Motor Co. hopes to have fully autonomous cars like the Intelligent Drive System Concept car on our roads as early as 2020. Ironically, technology giant Google, Honda, Volkswagen and some other giants in the automotive industry have also see 2020 as the year self-driving cars will become commercially available to the general public Credit: http://www.wearobo.com/2015/11/check-out-nissans-autonomous-car.html#sthash.ltksCHAv.dpuf

Article has since been taken down.We sourced it from Cnet because it's ''breaking news.''We are deeply sorry! We don't engage in such. |
Techoftoday:Yes it is from a Chinese company. |
I think Xiaomi said it would enter the African market this year with budget-friendly powerful handsets. |
Can anything good come out of China? Yes! for starters, Xiaomi, the world's most valuable technology startup and China's answer to Apple Inc. The 'Apple of China' as it is fondly called released a new handset recently, the Mi4C, that packs the features and specs of high-end handsets from big names like Samsung,HTC etc.but inexpensive. The new Mi4C smartphone is the successor to the Mi4i, which sold very well in China and other Asian nations, The new handset looks a lot like its brother from the outside but now has a new chipset, USB type-C reversible connector for transferring content from one device to the other at high speeds as well as Xiaomi's MIUI 7.0 beta which is base on Android 5.1. It is also now available in so many colours:Black, White, Orange, Light Blue, and Pink Like I said earlier, the Mi4C is a powerful handset that should have cost a lot more. It comes fully equipped with the specs and features seen on most high-end handsets like the Galaxy Note 4 and Google Nexus 5X. It has a 5-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) at 441 pixels per inch, which is wide and bright enough for watching pictures and videos, gaming, reading and surfing the web. The display is covered by Corning Core Glass, which is scratch-resistant. There is a 13-megapixel camera at the back of the handset, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus for capturing brilliant pictures or selfies. The Xiaomi mi4C has a feature called ''Edge Tap'' that lets you snap a picture just by a single tap on the edge of the handset. The new Xiaomi Mi4C handset uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor with a processor speed of 1.8GHz for an impressive performance and lower power consumption when gaming, launching and running your favourite apps etc. and pairs with either a 2GB RAM or 3GB RAM depending on the model, 16/32GB of internal storage(not expandable with a microSD card), a 3080 mAh battery that lasts all-day and runs on Android 5.1.1(Lollipop) mobile operating system. The Mi4C handset is already on sale in China and other places and can be had for just $277 from online retailer GearBest with free shipping. Mercedes-Benz is yet to announce pricing for the 2017 E-Class. Techoftoday: |
No doubt the S-class is a nice car but the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class with all its technological features would make its older brother look like the last child in a family. It packs some of the features of the 'car of the future' like automated driving and automated parking etc. which I believe, that's what you and I want to see in a car. And the E-Class sedan won't disappoint. AutoBlog revealed the features of the 2017 E-Class sedan.Check them out below. Semi Autonomous driving The Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which will make its official debut at the 2016 Detroit autoshow, is a semi autonomous luxury car. In other words, it is able to drive on its own without any input from you. Like Tesla Model S cars that drive themselves on the highways, all thanks to its autopilot system and the V7.0 software update, E-Class has what the German car maker calls 'semi automated assistance system' that consist of smarter adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. It takes the driving from you in certain situations, while still allowing you to be in control by having your hands on the steering wheel. Unlike Tesla cars with autopilot software update that pilot themselves on the highways with lane making, the 2017 E-Class does so even on public roads with no lane markings. It does so by following the car ahead and by scanning for structures such as guardrails and even buildings at the side of the road. Park with a smartphone Owners of the E-Class luxury saloon will be able to park their vehicles with a smartphone via an app called ''Mercedes connect me'' developed by the German automaker. This capability is a feature called autonomous park pilot. Mercedez autonomous park pilot is similar to the remote parking found in the BMW 7 series. Once you arrived at your destination, just activate the parking system and step out of the car. When you find a parking space, you can control your car into the spot by circling on the phone's screen within 10 feet of the car. Your smartphone now your car key. It's turns your phone into a car key.You can unlock your E-Class door with an NFC-enabled smartphone like the iPhone 6s or Galaxy S6, instead of your car key. Just point and tap your phone at the driver's door and it will open. This is very similar to BMW's take on the 7 series that offers a key fob and touchscreen. It also has a cradle that offers wireless charging to a NFC handset with a secure SIM card. Share information with other vehicles(V2X communication) The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan will come pre-installed with what is known as V2X or vehicle to X. This X stands for other vehicles and infrastructures. It will allow the 2017 E-Class to share information such as traffic with other vehicles via a Mercedes server. This will help improve vehicles safety. The E-Class also has Active Braking and Evasive Steering Assist to assist you detect and avoid hitting pedestrians that jump on the road out of the 'blue' and also to avoid collision with the car in front by slamming on the brakes when the system detects that an evasive maneuver is not possible. It also adjusts if you put in too much steering to keep the car E-Class stable. Adaptive LED Matrix Lighting. Introduced on the CLS for 2014, Mercedes’ Multibeam LED headlamps are enhanced for the 2017 E-class. The individual LED count increases from 24 to 84, each individually controllable—switching between high- and low-beams, and the curve-following adaptive-lighting functions are now achieved entirely via electronics. The light pattern is also altered in city driving or via information from the navigation system (such as when approaching intersections). Additionally, the light unit glows blue, which just looks cool. Credit: http://www.wearobo.com/2015/10/check-out-technological-features-of.html#sthash.Z7V5G4V2.dpuf

Have a feel of it first before jumping to Conclusion. Captainswag225: |
Yesterday morning, you looked good. Yesterday evening, before you went out, you're pretty sure you looked real good. So who the hell is this schlub in the Facebook album from last night, tagged with your name? Why do I look good in the mirror but a beast in photographs? Quite simply, your face is the wrong way round. As a portrait photographer, I've found about 90% of people will say they hate having their photo taken and are the least photogenic person in their family (if not the world). What I discovered was when I flip the image of someone on my computer, most people prefer it. We have spent our lives seeing our faces in the mirror, and we have become used to seeing our face that way round. So when we reverse that image, it doesn't look right No one has a perfectly symmetrical face. Most people part their hair on one side rather than the other. Most people have one eye slightly larger than the other. Most people have one curvier eyebrow and one straighter or pointier. Most people smile slightly more out of one side of their mouth than the other. Most people have a mole, scar or facial feature on one side and not the other. And so it goes on. So if your nose goes 2mm to the left, then when your image is the other way round it appears to be 4mm to the right of where you're expecting it to be. When you add all these things together, when you see your face in reverse to how you expect it to be, it's you, but not you. And that makes you feel uncomfortable. Consider this image of one of the world's most famous faces - Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. Which version to you prefer - the one on the left or right? When I have shown this image to photography clubs I have given talks to on portraiture, 90% of the audience prefer the one on the left - the way she was originally painted. When I put up an image like this (original and flipped side by side) of someone no one knows, I get a 50/50 split in preference. And that's because most of us are more far more comfortable with what's familiar. So when you look at a family photo, or group shot, everyone else looks as you expect them to - the way you see them every day. But you don't. Your face is the wrong way round to what you are expecting. So you think you are the non photogenic one. Meanwhile, everyone else is thinking exactly the same thing. So when you say to your sister - "you look great, but I look awful in this" - she thinks you're crazy, because to her you look fine and she thinks she's the odd looking one. Find a photo of yourself and hold it up in the mirror - look at its reflection. And if it looks better to you that way round, it will look fine to everyone else the normal way round. That price tag will scare a lot of BB loyalists, trust me. |
Yes BlackBerry Priv slider smartphone that runs on Google's Android OS can be pre-ordered by those living in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada starting today. The handset is priced at $700 in the United States, $900 CND in Canada and £559 in the UK. As you can see, pricing for the Priv varies according to where it is sold. If we should go by the US' pricing, the BB Priv would cost as much as N139,000 in Nigeria. Yeah the handset is more expensive than the iPhone 6S or even the Galaxy S6 Edge. This goes to show that BlackBerry is targeting enterprise users who wants security and wants to do more than only business on their phone. Can they sell 5 million of the Priv before 2016 runs out? HTC itself confirmed to Mashable that its One A9 is an Android-powered iPhone 6S. khalhokage: |
Why is every smartphone maker modeling their handsets after Apple Inc iPhone ? Can't they come up with something different and take the industry to a whole new level? Must it be on Apple designs. HTC shouldn't have named its flagship the 'One A9'. Rather the HTC iPhone 6s A9. I mean the handset looks a lot like the iPhone6s. Or should I say an iPhone 6S running Android Operating system. Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC launched its latest One smartphone, The A9, at the Barclay centre in New York, USA on Tuesday. HTC hopes its newest smartphone will make you dump your iPhone and pick up the One A9 instead. It even touts it as the iPhone killer. The One A9 is an all-metal handset with a 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display that packs some of the features and specs HTC believes will help it compete favourably with the iPhone. It has a 13-megapixels rear camera with optical image stabilization, 4-megapixels front-facing camera and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 64-bit octa-core processor. The A9 handset runs on the latest version of Google's Android operating system, Android 6.0 Marshmallow (In fact it is the first non-Google Nexus phone to come pre-installed with the new OS) along with HTC Sense. The handset comes in two models. There's a 16GB version with a 2GB RAM and a 32GB version with 3GB of RAM.You can increased the storage space on the 32GB version up to two terabytes. There's also a 2150mAh non-removable battery at the back of the handset to keep it running for hours. The new iPhone 6S HTC One A9 smartphone will come on stream to customers all over the world in the first week of November. The 32GB A9 is currently selling in the United States at $400. HTC says pricing for the A9 in the US will go up ''anytime soon.'' Credit:http://www.wearobo.com/2015/10/htc-one-a9-smartphone-is-iphone-6s-that.html#sthash.keuOyUdI.dpuf

Getting rich and becoming a millionaire is a taboo topic. Saying it can be done by the age of 30 seems like a fantasy. It shouldn’t be taboo and it is possible. At the age of 21, I got out of college, broke and in debt, and by the time I was 30, I was a millionaire. Here are the 10 steps that will guarantee you will become a millionaire by 30. 1. Follow the money. In today’s economic environment you cannot save your way to millionaire status. The first step is to focus on increasing your income in increments and repeating that. My income was $3,000 a month and nine years later it was $20,000 a month. Start following the money and it will force you to control revenue and see opportunities. 2. Don’t show off -- show up! I didn’t buy my first luxury watch or car until my businesses and investments were producing multiple secure flows of income. I was still driving a Toyota Camry when I had become a millionaire. Be known for your work ethic, not the trinkets that you buy. 3. Save to invest, don’t save to save. The only reason to save money is to invest it. Put your saved money into secured, sacred (untouchable) accounts. Never use these accounts for anything, not even an emergency. This will force you to continue to follow step one (increase income). To this day, at least twice a year, I am broke because I always invest my surpluses into ventures I cannot access. 4. Avoid debt that doesn’t pay you. Make it a rule that you never use debt that won’t make you money. I borrowed money for a car only because I knew it could increase my income. Rich people use debt to leverage investments and grow cash flows. Poor people use debt to buy things that make rich people richer. 5. Treat money like a jealous lover. Millions wish for financial freedom, but only those that make it a priority have millions. To get rich and stay rich you will have to make it a priority. Money is like a jealous lover. Ignore it and it will ignore you, or worse, it will leave you for someone who makes it a priority. 6. Money doesn’t sleep. Money doesn’t know about clocks, schedules or holidays, and you shouldn’t either. Money loves people that have a great work ethic. When I was 26 years old, I was in retail and the store I worked at closed at 7 p.m. Most times you could find me there at 11 p.m. making an extra sale. Never try to be the smartest or luckiest person -- just make sure you outwork everyone. 7. Poor makes no sense. I have been poor, and it sucks. I have had just enough and that sucks almost as bad. Eliminate any and all ideas that being poor is somehow OK. Bill Gates has said, "If you’re born poor, it’s not your mistake. But if you die poor, it is your mistake." 8. Get a millionaire mentor. Most of us were brought up middle class or poor and then hold ourselves to the limits and ideas of that group. I have been studying millionaires to duplicate what they did. Get your own personal millionaire mentor and study them. Most rich people are extremely generous with their knowledge and their resources. 9. Get your money to do the heavy lifting. Investing is the Holy Grail in becoming a millionaire and you should make more money off your investments than your work. If you don’t have surplus money you won’t make investments. The second company I started required a $50,000 investment. That company has paid me back that $50,000 every month for the last 10 years. My third investment was in real estate, where I started with $350,000, a large part of my net worth at the time. I still own that property today and it continues to provide me with income. Investing is the only reason to do the other steps, and your money must work for you and do your heavy lifting. 10. Shoot for $10 million, not $1 million. The single biggest financial mistake I’ve made was not thinking big enough. I encourage you to go for more than a million. There is no shortage of money on this planet, only a shortage of people thinking big enough. Apply these 10 steps and they will make you rich. Steer clear of people that suggest your financial dreams are born of greed. Avoid get-rich-quick schemes, be ethical, never give up, and once you make it, be willing to help others get there too.
