It depends on your location, and what am about to suggest to you would require patience, if done the right way; it would yield between 100% - 300% in 5months. It's FISH FARMING in a 'rented' earthen pond. If you can secure a space of 15m X 10m around you at the rate of 10-15k for the duration of 5 months. Then the possibility of being in business is in sight. The duration is from Fingerlings to Table size. Each 1kg fish has a minimum value of 400 Naira. If you are lucky to sell directly to a restaurant, possibly sold at the rate of 600 Naira. Better Profit margin for you.

Cost of Fish Pond = 15,000

Juveniles/Fingerlings for 20 Naira X 1000 = 20,000

Demudding/Digging = 5,000

Limestone and Salting = 1000

Fish feed 1.5 or 2mm (Coppens) 2bags = 13,000

Feed Booster (to be administered during 6 -7 weeks old ) X 2 The one that looks like honey. Liquid form, to be mixed with their feed, dry for 6 hours or more. Then feed them = 1000

Buy a net of 25 yards = 2,500

Attendant or Feeder (1st Month) = 2000

Security fee ( To be Paid immediately after 2 months)

Anonymous expenses = 4,500

TOTAL COST = 64,000

Subsequently you would need to buy Feeds for the Fish which the quantity or number of bags to be consumed would depend on how fast and well they feed. I hope this was helpful.

They may not be the cheapest but they are very reliable, very friendly, very careful and prompt.

Just be humble, polite, courteous with them you'll be surprised.

Another thing, they are experienced old hands and I think they are Custom Licensed Agents because they never use third party no matter what. Once their Big Boss Mr Patrick him self told me they had meeting with custom.

Most of these cheap express cargo companies all over the place are not custom licensed agents that's why they always have problems now and then as they try to rely on big agents.
