Nice Ride you have for sale Bro. |
@Denn. Which shipping/Courier service did you use to bring in your auto parts from America to Nigeria. Really interested in buying some parts for my car but don't have an idea of the courier/shipping company to use. How long did it take your parts to arrive Nigeria |
Am referring to the common air filter. |
OK Guys, so I had an interesting experience with my 2005 FX35 yesterday. Was driving on 3MB at night and all of a sudden the car could not accelerate anymore, checked the dash board and noticed the dash board lights were on and the brakes as well as steering started getting hard. I knew the car has just gone off. I managed to navigate to the edge of the bridge and switched off the car. Started the engine and the car started but went off immediately. Tried doing it again but this time around pressing the accelerator to rev the engine in order to stop it from going off again but the engine wont rev and car died. I Then called my mechanic and described what happened and he told me to check the filter in my airflow meter to confirm if it was torn and alas it was torn and worn out. Was told to remove the filter and start the car and to my greatest surprise everything was back in order and car moved fine. Drove it home with no issues after removing the torn filter. Had to go get a replacement filter this morning. Just to share this piece with my Infiniti FX users, never knew a torn filter would cause a car to behave like this way. |
The new Toyota design looks the same for the Corrolla,Camry and Avensis. The design is nice but am not impressed with the similarities in the design across all the three models. |
hmmm |
@drumma Maintenance cost is pretty much the same with your Honda accord. As stated in my previous post, I have not had any mechanical issues with the 05 fx35 so far. You can can use any oil with the rating SAE 5W30 which is the recommended oil. Ride is smooth and the sound system is crazy. It has inbuilt factory BOSE speakers so if you love music like I do you would enjoy the output I actually traded my 2008 Toyota Camry SE v6 fro this machine and I have never regretted my decision. |
Currently drive 05 FX35 and its extremely fast. Love the sound of the exhaust and the movement is tight. I have never had a mechanical issue with the car aside from the front legs as it does not drive so well on off roads. You can Google more on the fx35. its actually a crossover vehicle and not a jeep. You would never have problems with stability when you are approaching a bend as most jeeps experience. P.S You would really enjoy the ride if you travel long distance. |
I used to own the SE V6. Trust me you are better off with the V6 Engine. Its much smoother to drive with more power |
