Welcome to the last week of the first month of the year.

Don’t wait till the end of the year. Plan and do a one day, one week, one month and one year challenge by yourself and for yourself.
Don’t wait for ten years. If you will wait for ten years, there will be too many things you may suffer or benefits you may not be able harness or leakages you may not be able to identify (no review no such awareness) thereby increasing the chances of failure or poor performance.

If you give attention to you and review you, your activities and your outcome more often, it will be easier to make adjustments and you will likely grow better.

What you give attention to will grow.

10 years is not far. Many have just concluded their 10 year challenge. Unfortunately the only thing they had to show was only a physical change. It should be much more than that. There is no living thing that will not have changes physically after 10 years.

Plan the next phase of your life. If it is a 10 year yardstick, plan it now.
It is not things you should plan for, but what you should become for such things to naturally follow, that you should plan for.
Dream, work and walk your way through your dream till you arrive at its reality.
Dreams, goals and plans can keep you focused, help you channel your resources and are parameters to measure your performance.

Have you noticed the times we are in? We are in a time where there is no time. Everybody is busy, just busy. Busy viewing status, commenting, reading comments, arguing, listening to music etc. Busyness is in the air and all around us. If you don't schedule your time, you will be busy through the moment but with nothing to show for the time.
This is one of the reasons the generality of our people are poor and dependent - abuse of time. Time is money. Time is what you have to build. If you are not building you are wasting.

Build the life that will support and carry you through. Thank God for social media platform. It is a platform and not a life. We are too engaged in social media, building social life but the real life is neglected.

If you liken your life to a house, what kind of house are you or are you building?

If you liken it to driving a vehicle, where are you driving to? What is your role as the driver, are there qualities you should possess? Don’t you think these qualities are what you should put in you before you engage in the driving? That the vehicle is in top condition and that the roads are good is not enough. Because you set out to go to Point A and you are on the way does that suggest that the vehicle will just follow the road on its own accord till it arrives at Point A? Nop! You have to control the wheels, put them on track and remain on track till you arrive.

Are you controlling, directing and applying your resources in the direction of your destination or you expect a sudden, magical arrival or you are praying to arrive?

Identify some definite things you will put or build into you to stand the challenge of the changing times in another 10 years or so.
If you don’t do this now, you will only have physical changes (poor performance, nothing to show for the time, regrets and what follows is old age and all its attributes).

I challenge you to take action now.
