Please anyone in the house That can help me Out, Or are there any biz i can do within That can be safe And fetch good profit. Thanks yall
Good day Kolikay,

Finding a business to start with =N=2,000,000 depends on a lot of factors.

These are the most important factors you must consider before tarting a business:

(1) What areas/niche do you personally love and are most passionate about? (E.g. sports, agriculture/farming, construction, real estate, catering, food-services, printing, music, electronics, etc.).

You might be discouraged or even "burn your fingers" If you invest in any business you are not passionate about and have no knowledge about especially during times when the business is going through difficult challenges.

(2) Which area/city/state do you intend starting your business?

(3) What do you think people/companies/organizations residing in that area of your interest need and are willing to pay for?

(4) Do you have potential market in that area/city/state of your choice?

(5) Finally, the BEST BUSINESS for you will be determined after you are able to answer all the 4 questions above.

I hope my advise will be able to propel you to make the most favourable decision.

I will be willing to help you with your Business Plan anytime you are ready.

Have a lovely day and i sincerely wish you best of luck.

Nice post
@ SalesConsultant: Thank you.

inventiveguru:
That company you are working for will only make you look good for them to achieve their goals. If you don't achieve your dream, other people will pay you to help them do.
@ inventiveguru: Yes, you are very correct.

Ejiogbe:
Many people do not know exactly what business to do. This has been a major headache for them. So, what is the way out? I think you need to look at your passion. What are you passionate about? This could provide a direction to the kind of ventures you should be looking at. It has also been said times without number that fulfilling the yearning needs of the people in your area is the easiest way to start a thriving business. What are these needs? Items of everyday use readily come to mind. Items like laundry soap, bathing soap, detergent, liquid soap, antiseptic lotion, food items etc.command regular demand daily. Give anyone of these items and a host of others a trial and you will thank God
@ Ejiogbe: I agree with you. The first step to take in knowing the Business Ventures you will be very passionate about is to discover one's self. You need to know your Skills and what you are very good or gifted at.
Examples:
- If you are skillful at Writing, you can start a Blog or Write articles for Magazines.
- If you are good with Cooking/Baking, you can start a Catering Business.
- If you have a great flair for Fashion or you love making people look good, you can start any of these businesses: Fashion Designing, Salon, Bead-Making or Make-up Business.
- etc.

@ Everyone: The most important thing to note when planning is to start a Business that you will be passionate about and at the same time meet people's needs. Also ensure to Plan properly before you "Plunge in" into any Business. "He who FAILS to PLAN, PLAN to FAIL"

I sincerely wish you all success in all your Business Ventures.

BusinessTop 12 Reasons To Start Your Own Business by WebSnaz(op): 8:38pm On Jun 12, 2015
Hello Everyone,

Starting a New Business might be challenging and intimidating at first but it’s definitely worth the effort and risks.

Here are the Top 12 Reasons to start your own business.

(01) You get to be your own Boss and Manager.
(02) You will make more money aside your salary (PLEASE NOTE: the profits may not start rolling immediately).
(03) You eventually have more spare time to spend with loved ones (i.e. more flexible lifestyle).
(04) You get to be Financially Independent.
(05) You get to create jobs for others as your business grows.
(06) You can work from (or work in) any location you desire.
(07) You will gain entrepreneurial experience and skills.
(08) You get to pursue your passion and thus have more fulfillment.
(09) You will have more time to learn new skills.
(10) You get to set your own work schedule (i.e. more flexibility in work time).
(11) You get to build your own workforce.
(12) You get to inspire other upcoming entrepreneurs.

It is also important to note of the following if you want to start your own business:
1. Find-out the type of Business you will be Passionate about.

2. The Business you decide to start MUST meet peoples’ needs. There should be a market where the type of Products or Services you will be offering will be in demand, if not, you might not get enough customers/clients to patronize you.

3. If you are already on a paid employment (i.e. “9-5 Job”), it is advisable to start a business that you can manage on weekends. If you have a very tight work-schedule, you can have your spouse (if you are married and your spouse is unemployed) to manage it for you while you concentrate on your paid employment.

4. Start small.

5. Write a Business Plan for each of the Businesses you intend to start.

Please contact me on: websnazsolutions@gmail.com If you need a Business Plan or you are presently writing one for your business but need assistance on how to go about this.

In addition, you can also check out my Previous Nairaland post which listed out the benefits of having/updating the Business Plan of your Business by clicking on this link: https://www.nairaland.com/2315828/business-plans-nigerian-businesses

I strongly suggest you start planning to start a business you will be passionate about TODAY.

Please feel free to add your own comments on the advantages and importance of starting a business if it is not already stated above.

Nice One! You just gave me an extra-motivation.

Please kindly respond to the question earlier raised by: "TheRealSage" as I am also interested to know.

@ babytejiri:
Nice and Useful Contribution. But most of the templates on the website you gave are “Generic” Business Plan Templates. I write customized Business Plans and the “Financials” section of my Business Plan are tailored to the particular Business of my clients.
PLEASE NOTE: Even if 20 different entrepreneurs are into the same line of Business, Their method of operations and expenses may be similar but ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT from each other. One great advantage of my Business Plan is that I make realistic assumptions in the “Financials” section so it’s more prone to be executed successfully. Take care and I wish you success in your Business.

barry40:
People usually contact me for business plan writing, but a lot of them are turned down because of my tight schedule. I will keep you informed any time I have such lead.
@ barry40:
Nice One. I also have tight-schedules at most times during the week so I take advantage of my weekends. Take care and I wish you success in your Business.

@WebSnaz
ok I made two changes to my blog, due to your advise
1 I changed the theme, it looks a bit better but i it still still think it needs a lot of work.
2 I changed the domain name. It was otondoapplicant dot dot com now it is freshgraduatetrainee dot dot com. I think the later has more seo value. am I correct?
please you can view the blog again later and see if you can give me some advise on the theme. Thanks
Hello OkunrinMeta,

I have seen the changes you made to your blog.

Please find below my additional suggestions:

(1) The name of your blog is better than the last one you used.
(2) You have added a background colour but it's too dark. Use a lighter shade of Brown for your background colour (if you like brown).
(3) The colour of the section where the post contents are placed is Dark Brown. Please use White colour and make the text colour black.
(4) You still need to add Pictures to your posts as it still looks very dry.

Your contact is not authentic enough. Do you have a physical office location where potential clients can reach you? Do you have a website that showcases what you offer and testimonials from previous clients who are satisfied with the service you rendered? I ask because I am interested in purchasing your service but I need to be convinced you are genuine and competent.
Hello Royalty01,

Thanks for your observation. I really understand your being very careful not to be scammed and your concern to get the best value for your money.

I can assure you that I am NOT a Scammer and you will get the best value for your money.

Please find below the answers to your questions:

(A) Do you have a physical office location where potential clients can reach you?
For now, I don’t have a dedicated office address yet but will get one in the nearest future. Presently, I work from home and I cannot drop my home address on a public forum for security and safety reasons. However, if you stay around the Island, you can meet me at my office in Lekki-Phase 1. If you send me a mail, I will give you all the address and other details you need. If you don’t feel comfortable about this, we can meet at a public place (e.g. an eatery) on a weekend to discuss but at most times I DO NOT NEED TO MEET WITH MY CLIENTS TO PREPARE THEIR BUSINESS PLANS FOR THEM. I normally get all the details I need from my clients through WhatsApp chats , BBM chats and the details I get back from them through the questionnaires I send to them earlier via email.

(B) Do you have a website that showcases what you offer?
I am presently working on my website and it will be ready before the end of June 2015. I will gladly drop the website here on this forum when it is ready.

(C) Do you have testimonials from previous clients who are satisfied with the service you rendered?
Yes, you can contact the CEOs of the listed businesses below to get all the information you need:
(1) Martina, CEO/MD Peeweestyles (www.peeweestyles.com)-A Fashion Design business.
(2) Damilola, CEO/MD June's Cuisines (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Junes-Cuisine/417634041729419?fref=ts)-A Catering Business

If you are interested in having your Business Plan prepared by me, you will only make payments (for the Final Version of your Business Plan) after seeing and reviewing the draft of your business plan.

Alternatively, you can also visit my store on Kaymu to purchase my Business Plan Writing Service. Just search for "Business Plan Writing Service for Start-Up Business" on Kaymu search engine to locate my store.

Once again, if you have any concerns or require more details, feel free to let me know via this post or through email on: websnazsolutions@gmail.com

Thank you.

I will like to find out how to make it look good and send trafiic to it. I will also apprecite information about how much traffic i need before i can apply for and make some small amount with adsense.
I believe someone here will be gracious enough to help me, I would like as much help from as many people as i can get. I need to make money from this blog to raise capital for my business.

Thanks.
Hello OkunrinMeta (and other prospective new bloggers),

Making money from a Blog requires a lot of dedication, hard-work, creativity, passion and patience. If you are not passionate about blogging, I'm afraid you might get discouraged and later drop the idea when you face some challenges in future (trust me, I'm talking from experience and I am not trying to discourage you).

Please find below my SINCERE AND HONEST suggestions:

(1) Always publish posts regularly (at Worst case scenario, Publish at least twice a week).
(2) Write about interesting, useful, relevant and educative topics in your line of interest (Great Contents attracts Visitors).
(3) Use a bright and colourful background colour (as at the time I was writing this, the background colour of your blog was too
dull and not encouraging for "First-Time" visitors to visit again).
(4) Always include Relevant Pictures for each of your Blog posts. Please don't "copy and paste" pictures from other people's website or blogs without giving credit to them. It is advisable to get your pictures from public-domain websites or design your own graphic pictures yourself.
(5) Advertise your blog to your Facebook friends by sharing each post you publish on Facebook.

Hope you found my suggestions very useful and I wish you great success in your ?Blog and Future Businesses.

JAkpayen:
What important area of a BP do investors/bankers look at?
Hello JAKpayen,

Please find below, the major areas a Potential Investor will look for in a Business Plan:

* Product & Services offered/Target Market: Investors need to know the exact product(s) or service(s) you plan to offer along with the target market you are aiming at and a demonstrated need for the product(s) or service(s) in such Markets. Thus, this must be included in your Business Plan.

* A management team with a proven track record: Investors will want to know the business experience, qualifications and previous successes (if any) of your management team or business founder (if it is a sole-proprietorship). All these should be included in your Business Plan.

* Strategy: Investors will like to see your implementation strategies thus your business plan must contain the strategies you will need to ensure seamless implementation of your business.

* SWOT Analysis: Investors wants to see an analysis of your business’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threat, which will show that you’re realistic and have considered all the major opportunities and challenges.

* Returns on the Investment/Realistic Financials: Investors expects a return on their investment. Thus, you must have a realistic financial projections (i.e. Projected Profit and Loss Statement, Projected cash-Flow Statement, Break-Even Analysis etc.) to show how long it will take your business to start making profits and when they can get a return of their investments.

If you already have a Business Plan and you want a FREE EVALUATION or you are planning to write a Business Plan for your business, please contact me via email on: websnazsolutions@gmail.com

Thank you.

Hello Everyone,

Are you an entrepreneur or planning to start your own small business? If your answer is YES, then you will definitely need a Business Plan for your business venture.

A Business Plan is written document that describes in detail how a new business (or an existing business planning to expand or re-brand) is going to achieve its goals. In other words, it is a written description of your business's future and an essential road-map for business success.

Some of the many benefits of having and regularly updating your Business Plans are:

* It helps you find funding for your business.
* Identifies Potential Future Problems which you can avoid.
* Manages and monitors your growth and objectives.
