EducationUniversity Of Benin Exposes Their Students To Environmental Hazards. by weenzayn(op):
For the past five days, the students of university of Benin residing in AKANU IBIAM HALL(HALL4), UNIT ONE has been exposed to environmental hazards which is capable causing various infections to the students.

This is as a result of the school management's failure to pay the cleaners. This issue has been lingering from the beginning of this semester. A chat with some of the cleaners revealed that the school management is owing them seven(7) months salary. It was further revealed that their salary is about seven or eight thousand naira. This is inhuman! A man is entitled to wages for work done.

The school management has promised to pay them times without numbers, but to no avail. This is not the first time this is happening.

This time around, the cleaners have refused to work unless they are paid. And it seems the school management is comfortable with them not working. The school management appears to be okay with the situation at hand. They have turned deaf ears to the cries and pleas of the students and have blindfolded their eyes not to see the state of the hostel.

I need not mention the various health issues that environmental hazards can cause and is already causing. Students are exposed to various diseases and are expected to prepare and write exams in this condition.

This is a plea to anybody, organizations, NGOs, the school management and to the entire society at large, to please take active measures to remedy this defect once and for all.
The pictures below are just a tip of an iceberg.

Since 1987, no southerner has held that position. Now in 2017, you have it and want to mess it up.

Note that no matter how the case could tilt, the CJN has no right to interfere or intervene.

In law, decision by Judges are reached based on material facts from evidences produced by the plaintiff and defendant.

A defendant may have killed someone, but if the prosecution can not produce a convincing evidence linking the defendant to the murder, the Judge would set the defendant free.

We all know Almustapha ordered the killing of kudirat Abiola, but no evidence was presented to the judge to confirm Almustapha did it, hence he was set free.

That's how the court process works
There is nothing in this report that talks about the facts of the case! its all targeted at the CJN.

APC knows they are going to lose out. probably, they couldn't manipulate the supreme court and now they want to taint them bad by tainting the head(CJN) bad so that when judgement comes and it is not in their favour, they will then say, "oh! we said it before".

The executive arm should stop interfering with the functions of other arms. it is not funny and it is unbecoming!! .
Let the supreme court reach their decision in their own convenient time.

I am anticipating the supreme court reversing the court of Appeal's decision.
