Objectivity As for the Germans who decided that they are going to destroy a country who wished them no harm, nl Russia, may they suffer the same kind as inflation Zimbabwe did in the early to mid 2000's - HYPER INFLATION! I have no sympathy with a country who could not care less about the citizens of one that did them no harm, yet their main goal was to financially cripple and destroy them! Buy blankets Germany - you're sure a heck are going to need it very soon! |

223456 There was virtually no inflation during the National Socialist era. The Weimar republic had hyper inflation. |
CensureIsEvil Well in reality nazis never went away. Nazism in Germany however today is radically different. Today nazims in Germany is called zionist neocons, ''Greens'', ''Liberals'' "ANTIFA'' "BLM" the "SDP'' and ''World Economic Forum''. 1 w Reply +5 + |

Listopad3 What is said in the headline is in no way supported in the article. The worst inflation in Germany, if I'm not mistaken, was in the PRE-Nazi Weimar Republic. It was so bad that it help propel the Nazis into power. |

She said “We stand with Ukraine as long as they need us, no matter what the German voters think.” 1 w Reply +10 + The surge in consumer prices in the past year exceeded 10%, Destatis has reported. Inflation in Germany saw year-on-year growth of 10.9% in September, up from 8.8% recorded in the previous month, official data released on Thursday by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) shows. The readings came in higher than the market expectation of 9.4%, and marked a record high since the creation of the euro in 1999. Soaring food and energy prices reportedly had a considerable impact on the high inflation rate. “Energy prices were 43.9% higher in September 2022 than in September 2021,” the agency said in a press release. “There was also an above-average rise in food prices by 18.7% from the same month of the previous year.” On Thursday, the German government agreed a €200 billion ($194 billion) package to “cushion rising energy costs and the most severe consequences for consumers and businesses.” Under the plan, which will be financed with new borrowing, Berlin will introduce an emergency price brake on gas and electricity. It will also scrap a planned gas levy on consumers to avoid further price increases. Growing inflation pressure is weighing on purchasing power across the EU’s largest economy. German retail sales posted a month-on-month decline of 1.3% in August, official data released on Friday by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) shows. The figure followed a downwardly revised 0.7% rise in July and came in worse than the consensus forecast of a 1.1% decline. Retail trade recorded a 4.3% decrease in turnover in real terms compared to August 2021, according to Destatis. Meanwhile, retail food sales were down 1.7% on the month and 3.1% on the year, the lowest figure in more than five years. The latest data revealed a surge in import prices and drops in industrial output, adding to signs that Europe's largest economy is heading for recession. Last month, German inflation reached its highest level in more than 25 years. This was driven primarily by high energy costs, which inevitably cuts into consumer spending. In August, import prices for energy soared 162.4% versus the same period a year ago, while the price of natural gas saw a massive year-on-year surge of 306.3%. The energy crisis across the EU has largely been caused by skyrocketing gas prices due to sanctions Western allies have imposed on Russia over the conflict in Ukraine. Industrial output in August dropped by 0.8% month-on-month, the sharpest fall since March, which was the first full month of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, the statistics office said. German annual consumer inflation rose to a new peak in September, hitting 10%, according to provisional data released in September. https://www.rt.com/business/564278-germany-retail-sales-inflation/ |
