deedee44: After learning all dz, what is now left to be learnt in the camp One is learning. Then the other is implementing what you have learnt and been able to explain your implementation line by line. Also using best practices. That's what you will mostly be learning at boot camp |

Harrison2500: Yes I just did. But I don't know where to start from I mean I don't know anything about coding I wil advise u take the next 3 months to study the material well and learn hml, css, javascript, first. After that start learning about backend development with node, creating APIs,. Then learn react, understand Test driven development, agile methodology, learn basics of sql query, restful Api, Es6 Then u should be at least ready for the boot camp Am not sure 3 months is enough depending on how fast u can learn and understand d basic concepts. |

DonPikko: that's not negative vibe guy, my friend, a lawyer, got into andela this march, he as been learning programming for almost 16 months, when I made enquiries about the boot camp, he said its a very tough environment, you need to prepare extremely hard, and be able to able to meet deadlines, its not about praying hard or fasting, andela recruitment is very transparent, they don't take in mediocres, if you're not up to standard, I'll tell you to go and train more I know that ur friend. Is name starts with an I |

DonPikko: what are the current stacks that's being used Its node/express for sever with postgresql for database for the backend. U might not be allowed to use a ORM and will be writing ur queries urself. React/redux for front end, u might also not be allowed to use a css framework. Json web token for authentication Test is also required for both backend and front end with minimal of 80% coverage in both |

stephenkhalaf: Please, what can someone expect in bootcam. As in, what will be taught. Textlester said we should expect 1 node.js/express 2.mongo db 3 sass, vc 4 react redux
Please can you confirm this and tell me more from ur experience Nobody is going to be teaching u anything. U learn by ur self. U will just be provide with what you need. Electricity, Internet, materials, food and people u can ask for help when u get stuck. But nobody is going to sit and teach u node or react. Start checking out different resources on Google and level up |

princesweetman2: So guys do yasef a fav by searching d answers on d source listed above. I refuse to use it. eventho stackoverflow helped me in 50% of d code practicals, I totally answered d theory by myself wt d help of Wikipedia and w3schools unda 9 non straight hours as I did oda things in BTW. They re not doing dere self any favor. By copying answer. The boot camp will catch u out. Even if u make past the boot camp they won't survive the fellowship. Its better to take ur time to learn and understand what you re doing and enter the fellowship than to cut corners and enter and end up getting sent out of the fellowship after 2 or 3 months because u could not meet expectation. Fyi u can still get sacked if u don't meet expectations after u enter the fellowship. So entering the fellowship is not the end. |
