famzynet: True talk. Are we celebrating her for crashing that beautiful helicopter. I sometimes feel disappointed at comments some people made. She almost caused lost of lives. When capt Sully (google him cos im sure you've never heard about him) decided to land in the Hudson river. Did he almost kill his passengers or save their lives? |

What about the last same company same aircraft type that crashed and killed 6people? If while driving on the road you discover your brakes have failed and you swerve and park by the curbside, maybe denting your fender in the process... Did you almost kill yourself or save your life? |

Boeing777pilot: Thank God we have real aviators here. If not the fellow would have succeeded in making people believe he was one.
Aviation is one of the biggest families world wide and every accident or incident is felt by everyone who flies.
There's a universal bond among aviators that never be understood unless you are inside.
Thumbs up to Captain Abimbola Jayeola, we salute you Skipper.
To those people who liked the mofos comment, you honestly need to get your heads examined. May your take offs equal your landings. We all in the rotary offshore industry thank you Capt Abimbola Jayeola very much for the lives you saved. You braved the skies and conquered the sea. |

GworoChewinMaga: Sharap.
This is the Internet and I can claim whatever.
Boeing777, I try small shah
The aircraft is currently at 4500ft.
I assumed the color spectra being red to be thermally active zones.
I did not check the altimeter or else I would have guessesed right
I then thought it was a ground body heat emissions from buildings or other artificial obstructions. There are no assumptions in aviation! You can lay claims to what your brain can manage but never anything more. |

fsb: Nigerian journalists should stop misleading people with erroneous headlines. They should spend their time on real investigative journalism and not manipulation of news to sell their stories. Nigerians in general don't read. A lil research by the journalists would reveal the fact you have stated. The aircraft is designed to make a precautionary/emergency landing on water, that is why it is equipped with floats and inflatable life rafts. The pilots and passengers are also prepared for this through compulsory HUET (helicopter underwater egress training) and they wear life jackets on every flight. |

Boeing777pilot: I have posted a few pictures for him to explain. Surely an aviator with 5000 hours in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan shouldn't have issues with them. A supposed helicopter pilot with 5000 hours thinks a you reduce "thrust' to 60 and "stall engine" in an autorotation. |
Travel › Re: Abimbola Jayeola Captain Of Bristow Helicopter That Ditched In Atlantic Ocean by Whirly: 11:32pm On Feb 05, 2016 |
GworoChewinMaga: Thrust down 60
Peddle left and yaw
Nose down 15 degrees
Stall engine to 30
Raise nose gently
Put that mutherfcker down like a baby Jesus It took you time to google an auto sequence...but unfortunately you got that for a french aircraft. Thrust down to 60? Thats a regular landing. your blades would stall and you'd fall right out of the sky like a stone. Left peddal? if you fly a french aircraft. Nose down ? say your hail Mary and and plunge to your death Stall engine? Stall engine? What fuck3ry! I can send you some aviation books cos i see you have a bit of an interest. |

Cutehector: Introvert like seriously.
Wait until u have a husband who may have been aboard that chopper. U will tell me whether she is a good woman or not. Some peoples husbands were in the last crash that killed 6 people. So either say something constructive or shut the fudge up |
