There was a fire outbreak last night ( 12/04/2017 ) around Oroazi Area of Port Harcourt. The emergency number was dialled but it didn't connect and when it connected , there was no response. The fire service number was going through also so finally had to call police control to help get through to the fire service . Till this morning , they never showed up. Two persons lost their lives because the people around didn't have the capacity to quench such fire.

Anyways , It's true that Governor Wike is working by doing only 1 thing which is road construction . What happened to the emergency number that was working during the Amaechi tenure ? These are things the government need to look into . The emergency service is very important and needs to be re-established immediately to save lives .
