@lonelydora, thanks for ur response . my navigation was working perfectly until I took it to the mech to change engine seatings. He removed the battery head and after putting it back , it requested for the code which I put. Since then, the navigation screen only displays please check ur CD . now the question is , Have you ever experienced this and how did u fix it ?

Has ur rover been fixed ? If not , does it have an actuator ? If yes , that could be it but as Oga Gazzuzzzz said, proper diagnostics should be done first

What is happening to the armed forces in Nigeria? They go about shooting unarmed civilians all over the country. They need to look into the recruitment of these officers now, those that aren't fit or good enough for the armed forces should be removed immediately from the forces. I wouldn't blame the biafran director calling them monkeys and baboons in the armed forces. They act like animals , acting drama at check points .

@casid, if the sensor has been serviced , its 3 things I know that affects gear
1. Gear oil which u said you have changed but I hope u used the good or right one .
2. Gear sensor which u either service or change completely and
3. Gear selector , usually u just have to change it .

From EOD experience but I'd suggest u scan first.

Good morning nairalanders . finally the issue was resolved by buying a new selector . now the transmission is smooth. I don't even feel it when the car changes gear anymore. Thanks guys for ur help

@mayor2013. I just called the mech guy now yo have the car scanned but he said he had a new gear selector installed and he tried it this morning and the car changed smooth . but isn't that amount too much for a gear selector ?

The light doesn't blink and once u drive the car for up to 10minutes, it doesn't do that anymore. He said that price is for used sitting

My people una good afternoon. Please my gear just started something new for like 1 week now . when I start the car in the morning or when engine is cool, when its about to change the first gear, it changes hard and makes noise . I asked my mechanic to check and he said I need to fix my engine sitting and change the gear changer. He said the gear changer is 15k and engine sitting is 16k for front and back. Please guys could DAT be the solution and is that the right price for the items. Thanks guys
