Hi @everyone

It's observed that in Nigeria, when you go to the MECHANIC SHOP you will see oil on the ground, in SALOON, you will see HAIR.

What exactly is wrong with Nigerian BANKS?

Education / Classroom Engagement Tricks by Wikidekk: 8:50pm On Aug 27, 2022
Hi great teachers!

Keeping the classroom engaged during lessons can be difficult. Sometimes what you teach is not the PROBLEM but how you make the students feel is.

In order to get students to pay attention in classroom there is need for STORIES, PUZZLES, JOKES, etc. This would make your classes more engaging, fun and entertaining.

You can also sell stories, puzzles and jokes.

Now you can COPY thousands of classroom stories on passbuttons.com.

I won't say we have all the stories in the world as well, but with your contributions we will be able to help thousands of teachers out there looking to put smiles on students and make the world a better place.

Register free on passbuttons.com and COPY or POST your own stories.

Together we will make teacher's life better because Teacher's Life Matter

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Teachers Needed In Ebonyi by Wikidekk: 12:12am On Jun 02, 2022
It's your choice to be negative or positive about anything. If you call it a trap, that, it is to you and if you call it an opportunity, that, it is to you.

Education / This Is Very Wrong by Wikidekk: 7:12pm On Mar 07, 2022
Dear EDUCATORS,

Even if a child is 1 year, 2 years, 3 years or 4 years, we need to know that it's unprofessional, it's not ideal to hold the hand of any child in the process of writing.

Holding a child's hand to write is very wrong.

Also, handwriting practice or formation of numbers and letters should not be given to children that are 2 years old. This is wrong too!

These innocent little kids need to do lots of fun activities, tracing, fine motor skills, scribbling, colouring, painting, lacing, connecting the dots, patterns activities, moulding, tearing and squeezing of papers, writing in the air etc.

They need to do more of these pre-writing activities between the age of 2 to 4 years.

When they reach the age of 3, then you can gradually introduce tracing and writing of patterns; tracing of numbers and letters to them.

Handwriting is not an easy skill as we all presumed or assumed.

It's a rigorous skill that requires proper teaching and demonstration from enlightened educators.

Children need time and well structured content to learn and perfect it.

Children need to practice handwriting from the scratch.

As educators, we should stop jumping the gun. Teaching writing of letters and numbers before fine motor skill and pattern tracing is an act of jumping the gun.

Please educators, relearn and adjust.

Wishing you success

Jobs/Vacancies / Where To Always Look For Job Offer by Wikidekk: 9:58am On Nov 11, 2021
Getting job these days is easier as long as you are good at what you do. This is because there are genuine companies out there helping job-seekers very well.

The companies includes, but not limited to
1. Passbuttons.
One thing great about passbuttons is that they are niche-based. As long as you want to work in an educational institution whether in or outside Nigeria, passbuttons is where to study.
Jobs easily seen here includes, but not limited to secretary, lecturer, principal, hm, bursaries, teaching, educational consultants, school planners, online tutors, etc.

Another amazing thing is that they give job-seekers multiple sources of income like selling digital products, answering or asking people's question and getting paid, referring job-seekers(when you refer you earn some % from employee's salary), referring students to book tutors or buy past questions and answers, referring any educational institution to use their software, etc. A whole lots of ways.

To get started, just type passbuttons on Google.

2. Ngcareers
This is another great job-listing website. They publish job opportunities and anyone can apply.
To start, search ngcareers on Google

3. LinkedIn
Anyone seriously looking for job and doesn't know linkedin still has a lot to do. One thing about LinkedIn is that you get to network with people. They also have paid service where you pay to learn some job-hunting tips

To start search LinkedIn on Google.

4. Jobberman

Will talk about this and more on the next thread.
