My advice is to try the upgrade; if it turns out that the OS is not genuine, the worst that could have is that Microsoft would not allow you to continue with the update.

Additionally, you can read the information found in this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/howtotell/Software.aspx#Packaging, it will tell you how to know if the OS is genuine or counterfeit.

I was using a partially free subscription so I didn't take notice of the data consumed, but from the size of the illegal iso file I saw online; I will advice you to budget about 4GB of data.

Windows 10 was released to the public on 29th July 2015 after more than 10 months of its beta releases (Windows Technical Preview—now Windows Insider Program). The whole features of the insider program can be found here.

Prior to this public release, Microsoft provided a way of easy upgrade (by reserving) when Windows 10 is eventually realeased. Essentially, this is a Windows 10 reserve software which will "download Windows 10 to your device and notify you when it’s ready". However, not all devices were able to get this Windows 10 reserve software software—mine is a good example. Nevertheless, this is not the only way to install windows 10 0n your device; there is another way.
How to Install Upgrade from Windows 7 and 8 to Windows 10 Without the Reserve Software
Before proceeding, just check out the system requirements of Windows 10 to ensure that your device is supported.

You should also ensure that your device is plugged to a power source as the whole process will run into hours.Upgrading to Windows 10 has been designed in such a way that there would be no data loss but as an added layer of security, you can backup your data.

Visit this link to download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool. Remember to download the right copy based on the architecture of the current windows you are running.

Launch the software (it requires admin privilege) and you should see this:

Then it will check for updates. This should give you a general idea of the nature of updates is in Windows 10—you don't have the right to reject updates. "Windows 10 Home users will receive updates from Windows Update automatically when it’s available. Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise users will have the ability to postpone updates. The amount of time that Windows 10 Pro users can postpone updates is limited.," says Microsoft.

Finally the installation has begun!

Then the system upgrade proper. It's a three-step process:

1.Copying files
2. Installing features and drivers
3. Configuring settings

After a successful installation, you will be welcomed back. Hit Next.

1. Buying the Unlocking Credit
The first step you have to take is to buy credit. Go to https://www.dc-unlocker.com/buy, choose the payment method that is convenient for you and fill out the form with the required information.

Beside the Credits textbox click on How much do I need? to find out how much you need for unlocking the modem. As at the time of publishing this post, it was still €1. Enter the required amount in the Credits textbox click on the Confirm button.
2. How to Unlock/Crack Huawei 303H Modem
After you're done with the payment and it has been processed, download Huawei HiSilicon Firmware Writer, insert an alien SIM (i.e. SIM of another ISP) inside the modem and insert the modem into a USB port. Remember to close the modem software if it auto-starts.

Run the Huawei HiSilicon Firmware Writer.

Now, the computer needs to be connected to the internet. You can use a none-Huawei modem (e.g. ZTE) or Wi-Fi connection to put the computer online. Login to with your username and password (if you're a new user, check your email address for the password).

After a successful login, the software will automatically detect and read the modem.

When you're done downloading it, go back to the firmware writer and under Firmware file click on the white paper icon on the text box.
Navigate to the location of the downloaded firmware file, select it and click Open. Remember to change the Files of type : to Digiteka files (*.dgtk), else you won't see the firmware file.

After this, you have to click on the Update button. This will trigger the processes of rewriting the modem firmware.

3. Creating Connection Profiles
The final step is to create connections profiles for the alien (now supported) SIM. Depending on the interface of the modem software, navigate to Tools > Settings and click on Add to enter the appropriate values.

Below is the connection details of Nigerian ISPs, if you're not in Nigeria, I'll advice that you check the web for settings that is related to the ISP you're using.

Please I want to conduct a survey on your experiences with Konga and/or Jumia. Those that are to partake in it are the people who has bought products (anything at all) from Konga and/or Jumia.
Please, if you are qualified and interested pls comment with their experiences with both retailers. And the comment should be able to answer some of the following questions:
1. Delivery time and cost of both retailers.
2. Between the two retailers, which has better customer service?
3. Which provides better description of their goods?
4. Which of them has more cheaper products?
5. Which has better payment and delivery methods?
