Ebi2233:
*IJAW WOULD HAVE HAD NO VALUE IF NOT FOR NIGERIA'S BAYELSA✍🏽✍🏽✍🏽.*

*Ijaw Nation, the 3rd or 4th largest tribe in Nigeria comprising of 86 Clans and over 2,800 villages and settlements starting from Apoi West Clan in Nigeria's Ondo State to Ibeno Clan in Nigeria's Akwa-Ibom State unjustly balkanized into Nigeria's Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom States when we are fully together and not even scattered by God is among the most blessed people in the world.*

*Ijaw produce over 90 percent of all Nigeria's Crude Oil and Gas both onshore and offshore hence the unjust balkanizations into no less than 6 states in order to break us more because they know that if we are united, we can do wonders.*

*Fortunately for us, they gave us half State with few local government areas despite our great size.*
*Some say Bayelsa is with less population but this is false.*
*Population figures are being rigged in LGA Headquaters for political reasons and if they rig population figures in 8 LGAs Headquaters in Bayelsa, they will rig it in 48 LGA Headquaters in Anambra and Imo States combined.*
*And these two States put together are far smaller than Bayelsa in Area even when put together.*
*Imo 27 LGAs, Anambra 21 LGAs.*

*Despite the fact that Bayelsa is bigger than 10 Nigerian States of which are Lagos, Ekiti, Osun, Akwa-Ibom, Abia, Imo, Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi and even Nigeria's FCT Abuja.*
*Bayelsa with 10,773km2 is 873km2 bigger than Imo of 5,100km2 and Anambra of 4,800 km2 the two is 9,900km2 when put together while Bayelsa is 10,773km2.*

*Bayelsa comprise of over 800 villages and settlements under it.*
*Bayelsa is the stronghold of the Ijaws.*
*Whoever talk bad of Sanni Abacha is a betrayal to the Ijaw Nation.*
*He may have issues with other tribes but they cannot instigate us to hate him.*
*To patriotic Ijaws, Sanni Abacha is an Ijaw man because before he created Bayelsa, people had already created 30 States with no State for Ijaws.*
*One good reason the road that the Headquaters of the Apex Socio Cultural Organization of the land, the Ijaw National Congress (INC) is known as Sanni Abacha Road in Yenagoa.*

*Without Bayelsa, Ijaw would have no value.*
*God gave us Crude Oil as compensation for our difficult terrains but they take their resources and take Ijaw own too.*
*Ijaw is as large among the 3 largest tribes in Nigeria reason we had asked for a Region of Ijaw own even during the days of Regions as led by Sir Harold Dappa Biriye from Bonny in Ibani Clan.*

*Those that try challenge Ijaws are afraid because we have Bayelsa.*
*Both in money and man power the Ijaws that are threatened would get supports from Bayelsa like it has always been.*

*Ijaw our past,*
*Ijaw our present,*
*Ijaw our future.*

Politics / Re: How CBN Can Save The Naira by WildChild00(m): 1:12pm On Aug 14, 2023
The current fall of the naira against the united States dollar, can never be over emphasis, when import does not match with your export, and the forces of demand and supply doesn't correlate, this gives room to naira depreciating.

Politics / Re: Forex Crisis: Marketers Propose ₦‎720/Litre, Suspend Fuel Imports by WildChild00(m): 5:23am On Aug 14, 2023

Well, it starts by ensuring that the refineries would be profitable once in operation, and that can only happen if subsidy is removed.

Because, many private refineries have to look for financing from banks, and if the bank ain't sure they would see their money again, they won't lend.

Hence subsidy has to go.

This is the areas govt intervention is needed, the govt should encourage banks and other money/finance lending institute to lend out monies to local refineries owners and even grant them tax holidays, also interest free loans too.

Fixing the refineries won't have caused a reduction in price by much. (Some say N70).

The refineries still have to be maintained, and repaired and kept in good working order, and they still have to pay workers at competitive rates. Guess what, we still have to import components for the refineries from abroad, then they have to pay taxes, and pay for community projects.

And all that costs money.

Fuel isn't cheap. Niger, Ghana refine fuel from domestic crude, and fuel costs above N800 in both countries.

Yes I agree it's expensive to repair and maintain a good standard refinary, the question is has the govt explore other avenues, like encourage local refineries, do you know that petroleum products can be refined locally?

How could he have repaired the refineries while paying subsidy ?
One had to go for the other. We have no choice but to endure the difficult time while hoping and praying our leaders get it right.
The current hardship is a global pandemic.

So using the citizenies as sacrifice is better, before resuming office, he ought to have a blue print, how can you have natural resources and you take it out of your country to refine and import back to your country for use, refinaries should have been fixed first then subsidy removal follows.
