Am currently facing same issue of upgrading to android 10 with my Samsung A30...I rooted my phone due to 1 or 2 things..after everything to unroot the phone was war,which I later did ..the whole process of unrooting is kind of hard ..if you don't do it well..things might go south...

So my advice to you is to Take the phone to Samsung office to fix, use Smart switch (1st unroot) to upgrade or or use another ROM to flash..

I guess your bootloader is unlocked, and yours is probably the snapdragon variant..... Would have helped you to unlocked it via screenshare but seems you don't know how to do it..... And your snapdragon variant is much more powerful than exynos(one am using)

Yes u can but I will advise u to leave it that way, u can download android 10 custom rom that has lots of features for your s9+

Upgrading your phone is easy and simple....


Just download smart switch (Samsung) to you PC...
Connect using follow- come cable to the PC..
PC and the phone must be connected to the internet...
Open Developer option on settings and active Debugging..
Allow smart switch to run it necessary update,when done it will connect to your phone asking you to upgrade to Android 10...

You should see software updates (This is note 9 btw)
But you can only use wifi, Mobile data won't work.

Download your phone firmware for Android 10 from Samsung or other safe source
Then flash it via Odin but be sure to backup your data
P.S there are other methods, this is the safest
But wait why haven't you received the OTA updates
