the police kept insisting its a civil matter. hence, they cant intervene..

Good day guys.

urgent advise needed here as i find myself in a dilemma and i'm gradually getting depressed.

i rented a 3 bedroom rented apartment in January 2019 even though i was aware i can not keep up with the bills. however, the caretaker advised i sublet so as to help out with the payments subsequently. i did in april 2019. the sublet tenant paid and till date, he hasn't renewed . he has stayed extral 1 year, 6 months without a dime. i have being asking him to leave without paying since it was just 6 months owed till date and i still stand my ground that he can go with the i yr, 6 months owed without paying a dime as i just needed to slip off this dilemma but yet, he is still there.
will i be breaking the law by forcefully throwing him out?

1..i have paid the rent complete for those 2 years without his input more like wasting the rooms he occupies because the landlord only has agreement with me.

2..there is no written agreement between me and him (sublet )
3..Tenancy agreement between me and landlord states no sublet officially
4..i had cried to my caretaker unofficially for help and in he has issued me a quit notice on that basis (NOT REAL THOUGH) so i can show the SUBLET tenant and see if that my help me FORCE HIM OUT but yet, no avail.


I NEED URGENT ADVISE AS I EMBARK ON THE WORST OF FORCEFUL EVICTION TOMORROW MONDAY 4TH OCTOBER, 2021
