Hello prospective YCT ND NLanders, just read in The Punch newspaper of yesterday, Wednesday, 26th November that the list of successful candidates are out. Successful candidates can check their names on the college portal or go to the notice board in school.

They are also to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee (in bank draft payable to Yaba College of Technology) of N6,500.
Pre-Registration screening and collection of admission letters starts 1st to 12th Dec.

Instruction for all fresh students:
1. Original & copies of SSCE results
2. Original & copies of JAMB slip
3. Two reference letters
4. Testimonial from former institutions (Registration only)
5. Evidence of payment of acceptance and screening fees
6. 10 pp photograph (registration only)
7. 1 postcard size photograph each of new student and parents of Guardian
8. Birth cert/sworn declaration of age (original & copy).
There will be no extension of period of registration.

early this year ke. abi na Nov last year. I gained adm 2005 too. Yabatech na real waste of time. Anyhow sha, i dey fall in back for HND (if my second choice of DE no click).

Was there a place or advert you were asked to buy post-pce card from IC Bank? If there wasnt, then you have forfeited your money. One has to put his ear to the ground for information before buying it.

as regards the IT. Since you have your letter of recommendation from your former school, that's the one u will use but it must indicate that you have completed a 1 yr IT with the firm. On the transcript issue, you will have to go to your school (if it's not Yabatech) writing a letter to its registrar (and of course, pay necessary fee to facilitate it) that they should send your transcript to Yaba College of Technology. After you must have paid the necessary fee for it in your school, the receipt you will be given should be photocopied before submitting your letter. It is that photocopy of receipt for payment for transcript is what you will attach to your application form.

first lady, am yet to submit mine. U know they said you have to attach your IT letter indicating u have completed a year IT. Am supposed to be through by this month's ending. I doubt if the list will be out until after January since they have not started exams.

I heard they are secretly paying 1k into YabaTech's account in lieu of the post jamb. How true is that? SOmebody gimme info cos i wanna pass it to a guy i met through NL.

My brother, na so i c am o! My friends i told couldnt believe i scored 46. Have been doing several test (not academic) for past 2 months which are even harder than Uniben and i have been passing them without stress. We just have to look elsewhere. Those who want to work and school should do that in no time. Time's not one's friend. All the best to those who lost the admission. We just need to encourage one another.

Yewande, u are supposed to be working not browsing the internet. Paloma is fine. As per the transcript, you will have to buy the draft and convert it to receipt. All they need is evidence of payment for it which is the receipt. You dont need to write any application. How FBN? All i want to know now is when the closing date will be.
