I thought what happened to my rn7 is about to happen again.

I had to long press the power button in order to reboot since the phone was not responding to touches.

NB. I updated to miui 11 two days ago.

This is exactly what happened to my Redmi 8A after upating.

No command seems to be working anymore. My phone is on and locked but nothing is working, except the power on and volume buttons. I can't unlock, I can't turn off, nothing seems to be working. My phone is alive, but unconscious. REDMI 8A. I didn't do anything unusual, except update my MIUI 10 to 11 last night.

Try the one working for Redmi 8, it might work but there is no known working GCam port for Redmi 8A currently.

Like I tell people if you know GCam is a priority then put it in consideration when choosing a new phone.
