Hi everyone, I Joined my family this weekend in the UK, thanks @justwise, Portsmouth86, Newbie75 for all your advices concerning the TB. I went through the immigration without stress. Although I was asked for the TB certificate, the immigration office was not interested in the expiring date, she only copied out the number of the tb on the white card.
The next thing now is my timeline, which I need to give on this page.
Thanks everyone that had contributed to this wonderful story.

Hello guys, below is the message I just received from Sheffield. My questions now is, when will it get to my VAC? When should I go for collection?

"A decision has been made on your UK Visa application. Your application will be dispatched shortly from the Decision Making Centre in Sheffield, UK. If anyone contacts you advising that your application is still under consideration or that they can influence the outcome of your application in any way, they cannot - please report any such approach to VisaSheffield@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk.

Applications submitted at a Visa Application Centre will be returned there for you to collect.

Applications submitted in Yaounde, Dakar, Banjul, and Lagos Visa Application Centres will be available for collection 3 - 5 days after receipt of this email. Please do not attend these VACs until this time has passed, or until you are notified that your documents are ready for collection.

Applications submitted at the mobile VAC in Abidjan will be returned by courier directly to the address you have provided.

You should not expect to receive any further notification from this office unless you have made your application in North America and submitted a pre-paid courier envelope for your documents to be returned directly to you. If so you will also receive a further email with the courier tracking reference. Please note that if you applied at the Toronto Visa Application Centre on or after 28 April 2015, and have paid for your documents to be returned directly to you, you will shortly receive your tracking number from the Visa Application Centre rather than from this office.

Kind regards,

Sheffield Visa Section"

Thanks all for your help,
Winso26.

Thanks all for your time and contributation, expecially @Justwish, Lexusgs430 and Portsmouth86. I am very grateful as God has done a miraculous work. I got this email from Sheffield visa section today:

"The decision to refuse your visa application has been overturned and our office is now ready to issue you a UK Visa. To complete this process we require that you submit your passport to our office at:

International Operations & Visas
Sheffield Visa Section
Vulcan House Iron, 4th Floor
6 Millsands
Sheffield
S3 8NU

It is recommended that an international courier is used to submit your passport.

You will also need to provide a valid TB certificate as you will not be allowed entry to the UK without this."

This means I don't need to bother myself with the lawyer.
Thank you all, I am so happy right now.

Hello everyone,
Urgent advise needed.
When I made my initial application we employed the services of a lawyer, but when the application was refused due to the mistake on the part of the lawyer, and that he was only interested in the fees. He initial charge us £900 which was fully paid. So when my wife and I decided to do the appeal on our own, surprisely we got another instruction to pay another £300, that he has logged an appeal for us. That's was when our problems started, we immediately told him to dis-logged whatever he has logged, he refused. My wife and I went ahead with our own well planned appeal as my wife the non-legal representative and to the glory of God, the appeal was allowed.
The problem is now, I've written to the Sheffield office to tell them of the severed relationship with the lawyer but surprisely we received an email from the lawyer yesterday the following messages:

''Please make arrangements to attend our Watford Office to collect the latest correspondence from the Home Office regarding your husband’s entry clearance.
Please contact me to arrange an appointment.''

I have been waiting for them to tell me to send in my passport because I got my promulgation since 31/07/2015. How do I handle this situation now. Do I have right to demand that message?
Please, good advice.

but I informed them of the problem during the appeal. I ever wrote a letter to that effect to the appeal department. It was noted, but I am not too sure if they change centrally.

I have the application reference number.

Hello House,
How do I know if they have my correct email address. My initial application was done directly by the lawyer and summited, so all the information from Home office go to the lawyer and they'll them forward the message to me. But the relationship between the lawyer and me had since ended. I am not too sure if Home office have my email address. So how do I make sure they have my correct email? Where do I need to write to?

[quote author=willwin2 post=38485750]You should soon get an email, I got my determination 15/4/2015, but the did not call me until the end of August, make sure you TB certificate is still valid, if not go an do a new one, it took 2 weeks for them to email to collect my passport, yours may be faster.

Thanks@willwin2, my TB certificate will expire on the 29th of October. I hope that'll do it.

Hello everyone,
I am new to nairaland, I am currently waiting for my spouse settlement visa. I applied sometimes ago in December 2014, which was refused. We logged in an appeal in 2015 which was successful. The determination was promulgated in 31/07/2015, ever since I didn't hear anything from them, until I wrote to the SAT(specialist appeal Team) they wrote me back, to inform me that they have concluded on my case, that they have since forwarded the matter to ECO in Lagos on the 11th of September and they further explained in that email that they were not going to challenge the decision of the the Judge. The email also says that the ECO in lagos is now responsible for the issuing of the visa.
What's really the true, is that the spouse settlement visa can be issue in Lagos or in Sheffield? Please, if there is anyone in the house with any ideal concealing this matter, please don't hesitate to advise. Your advice and comments will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Winso26
