Formal Real Madrid Manager, Zinedine Zidane Might

Replace Jose Mourinho At Manchester United
Zinedine Zidane would "love" to take over the Manchester United job as Jose Mourinho is given the sack, according to French journalist Julien Laurens.

Laurens told talkSPORT on Monday: "He would be tempted – I think he loves the idea."

“For him, the man management is his main quality, his biggest quality.
 
“He improved a lot at Real Madrid over the two-and-a-half years tactically, and in understanding the game, but where he was so good was managing that dressing room.

He made everyone, even the smaller players, feel important.”

Mourinho has been sacked following Sunday’s loss to Liverpool, and Zidane has long been rumoured to be the ideal replacement.

Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Manchester United following their disappointing start to the season.
Manchester United currently sit sixth in the Premier League table but have already lost five times in 17 matches, leaving them 19 points behind leaders Liverpool and 11 off fourth-placed Chelsea in the fight for Champions League places.

That follows a summer transfer window in which Mourinho routinely complained at a lack of signings, with the Portuguese unable to persuade the club’s hierarchy to sign a new centre-back.

“Manchester United announces that manager Jose Mourinho has left the club with immediate effect,” a statement read.

The club would like to thank Jose for his work during his time at Manchester United and to wish him success in the future.

“A new caretaker manager will be appointed until the end of the current season, while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new, full-time manager.”

Mourinho replaced Louis van Gaal in the United hotseat in the summer of 2016 and was tasked with leading the 20-time English champions back to the top of the domestic game after a barren three years since Sir Alex Ferguson’s appointment.

Jurgen Klopp has made four changes to the Liverpool side that beat Napoli in midweek, with some of those forced changes due to injuries. Clyne makes his first appearance of the season at right-back, with Lovren partnering Van Dijk at centre-back. Keita and Fabinho also come in the starting XI, replacing Henderson and Milner in midfield.

Meanwhile for United, the big news is that Pogba does not start for the visitors, the Frenchman is on the bench. Mourinho has made 10 changes to the side that were beaten by Valencia, with United appearing to line-up up in a 3-5-2 formation, that may revert to a five at the back if Liverpool start to pile on the pressure.

Manchester United have won just one of their last four matches in all competitions and they sit sixth in the table with 26 points, 16 points behind Liverpool. Mourinho does have a good record of winning at Anfield, securing four victories out of his eight visits with Chelsea and United. They were beaten 2-1 at Valencia in the Champions League on Wednesday, however, they did still progress to the knockout stages of the competition as runners-up in their group
