Abuja – A Lugbe Grade 1 Area Court in Abuja on Wednesday sentenced a 20-year-old student, John Onoja, to three months in prison for snatching a bag. Onoja, who resides at Lugbe Zone 9, Abuja, was convicted after he pleaded guilty to the charge of theft. The Judge, Mr Garba Ogbede, however, gave the convict an option of N5,000 fine and warned him to desist from crime in future. Ogbede also ordered the convict to pay the complainant, Raphael Obi, N32,000 restitution and to return the stolen bag. Onoja was however unable to pay the N5,000 fine and was taken to Kuje Prison. Interim coach of the Super Eagles, Samson Siasia, has expressed his disappointment, after their 1-0 defeat to Egypt on Tuesday, which ensures they will not qualify for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

It will be the second consecutive edition that Nigeria will be absent, after they failed to reach the 2015 tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

“We are very disappointed. We couldn’t do it,” Siasia said on arrival in Abuja from Alexandria Wednesday morning.
“We inherited a broken team, but we worked so hard, but it was not to be.

“I’m proud of the boys. We were not lucky right from the first game in Kaduna. And God knows why.

“We thank Nigerians for their support”, he said.

Siasia took over the team a month ago, after Sunday Oliseh’s shocking resignation.

Culture / Ovie Richard Layeguen, Delta Monarch Who Reads Without Glasses by withgodconsults: 12:37pm On Mar 29, 2016
UGHELLI—INDIGENES of Olomu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State have every reason to celebrate their revered monarch, HRM Ovie Richard Layeguen Ogbon Ogoni-Oghoro I JP, the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom.

Interestingly, the Ohworode, the oldest educated monarch in the state, who turned 99 years in January is so blessed that he still reads without glasses, walks unaided and displays the strength of a horse. The monarch in company of his immediate family recently caused a stir when he drove himself in a black Lexus jeep to St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Ogoni- Olomu for a special thanksgiving service. Secret of longevity Acknowledging God as the secret behind his longevity, the monarch urged all Nigerians, especially Urhobos to turn to God in solving her problems stressing that no human effort can permanently eradicate the problems plaguing the country. According to him, “God has been magnanimous to us as a people, yet we are crawling and sleeping. Am urging every one of us to learn how to give our hearts and soul to God as this is the only way we can succeed in life.” Speaking on the secret of his longevity, the monarch said: “God is the secret of my longevity and that is why at my age, I can still drive.” An epitome of God’s gift Governor Ifeanyi Okowa described the royal father as an agent of change while presiding over the activities of his people for the past 28 years as Ohworode of Olomu kingdom.

The governor, who was represented by the State Commissioner for Water Resources, Sir Fidelis Tilije a grand reception by the Urhobo Social Club, Lagos in honour of the monarch at Olomu, stated that as an epitome of God’s gift to Nigeria as a nation, all Deltans should emulate the leadership qualities of the monarch, adding that as an agent of change, there are lessons to be learnt from his life and times. Radiates excellence On his part, president of Urhobo Social Club, Chief Simeon Ohwofa while giving reasons for the honour bestowed on the monarch, said: “The Owhorode as a king, radiates excellence in his leadership for the past 28years on the throne and this excellence is what the club stands for, hence we have decided to celebrate him.” In his paper presentation titled, “The progressive leadership in a traditional setting,” the guest speaker at the reception, Prof. Samuel Ibodje, described the monarch as a colossus whose image transcends the frontiers of Urhobo into the international arena while remaining visibly endearing to his people as their monarch for the past 27years.

Dignitaries present at the event include the Olu of Warri, Obi of Onitsha, Pere of Seimbiri Kingdom, government officials and Ivie from the various Urhobo kingdom.

Crime / More Than 800 Boko Haram Hostages Rescued By Nigerian Army(pic) by withgodconsults: 12:46pm On Mar 25, 2016
Nigerian troops have freed more than 800 people held by Boko Haram Islamist fighters in multiple villages in the country’s restive north-east, the army said on Thursday.
All the hostages were rescued in Borno state, with 520 recovered in Kusumma village on Tuesday after a confrontation with Boko Haram fighters, and a further 309 from 11 other villages under the Islamist group’s control.

“The gallant troops cleared the remnants of the Boko Haram terrorists hibernating in Kala Balge general area,” army spokesman Sani Usman said in a statement, adding that 22 terrorists were killed.

Three Islamists were killed and one was captured alive during the second raid on the 11 villages, he said.

Usman said items recovered included arms, axes and a motorcycle.

The military operations came on the same day that Boko Haram abducted 16 women, including two girls, in neighbouring Adamawa state.

“We received report of the kidnap of 14 women and two girls by gunmen believed to be Boko Haram insurgents near Sabon Garin Madagali village,” said Adamawa state police spokesman Othman Abubakar.

Locals said the hostages were seized in the bush while fetching firewood and fishing in a nearby river under the escort of two civilian vigilantes assisting the military against the Islamist insurgents.

“When the civilian vigilantes escorting the women saw the heavily armed Boko Haram fighters advancing on them they fled, leaving the women to their fate,” said Madagali resident Garba Barnabas.

Two women who escaped by jumping into the river and pretending to have drowned later returned to the village to raise the alarm, he added.
Human rights groups have said fighters have kidnapped thousands of women and young girls, including more than 200 schoolgirls who were abducted from the Borno town of Chibok nearly two years ago.

At least 17,000 have been killed since Boko Haram launched an insurgency in 2009 to carve out an Islamic state in north-east Nigeria.

More than 2.6 million people have fled their homes since the start of the violence but some of the internally displaced have returned home after troops began a fightback last year and recaptured territory.

A regional force involving troops from Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Benin is to deploy to fight the Islamists.

Romance / Ladies, Should You Allow Guys Suck Your Bre* Asts? Find Out! by withgodconsults: 2:51pm On Mar 24, 2016
The female bre asts, also known as “the twins” or “the girls”, have remained the most conspicuous and attractive feature of the female sexual organ. Perhaps, its strategic positioning and function adds to its importance in the life of a woman.
Besides the age long biological function of the bre asts as a source of food and nourishment for babies, the bre ast is also a major source of sexual attraction for the male specie, just as it is also a key sexual organ for the woman, highly sensitive to stimulation. The fact that they come in various shapes and sizes, further add to their uniqueness and endearing place in our hearts as humans.
As a sexual organ, the bre asts have been known to give immense pleasure to both men and women during sexual encounters. In fact, some women have reportedly disclosed that they are capable of achieving orgasm even when thoroughly stimulated through sucking and caressing of the bre asts alone. Though, because of this highly sensitive nature, some women find it very uncomfortable or even painful to submit their twin girls to constant sexual manipulation of any kind.
Interestingly, men are constantly drawn to the bre asts. A lot of this attraction has been attributed to psychological composition, perception and beliefs. For, pray, why would a full grown man be obsessed with sucking some mounds of milkless bre asts? I don’t often get logical answers to this question when I ask. The function of the bre asts in sexual behaviour has been attributed to human Face -to -Face copulation that is unusual among other mammals. Since the bre ast already serves the function of mother-infant bonding, then it is also excellent for male -female bonding, says an argument. After all, it is just within reach.

For those familiar with some of the social media platforms, you would have come across a particular message that has been making the rounds for a couple of years now. Purportedly attributed to the BBC as source, this message usually springs out during the cancer awareness months and in support of cancer prevention campaign. As expected, it elicits a wide range of controversies from both men and women, from humour to disdain and sexual innuendoes, while some others believe the content hook, line and sinker. The purported message is claimed to have been issued by the Ministry of Health in the fight against bre ast cancer. One of the versions I have received read thus:
Very soon, women will be paying men to have their bre asts sucked! According to a report on BBC website, Doctors recommend that women reduce the risk of getting bre ast cancer by having their bre asts sucked thoroughly and vigorously. It is said that regular sucking of the bre ast lowers the risk level that tends to build up lumps leading to bre ast cancer. The bre ast must be sucked as often as possible. Help women fight bre ast cancer today. Men, please do your part and suck a bre ast now! And women, please endeavour to make it available regularly…… This message is from the Ministry of Health in the fight against bre ast cancer.
I have tried several times without success to get a confirmation for this story on the mentioned websites including cancer.org and some others in related fields. But perhaps, someone out there knows the original and authentic source of this message? Please share it with us!
As interesting as this message may be, as well as the different responses it receives anytime it is being passed around, depending on which side of the divide you find yourself, I am more worried about the health implications attached. Cancer is not something to make jokes out of as it claims millions of lives across the world every year. Again, some frightened lady who hitherto was not in favour of bre ast sucking may easily submit herself to torture with the belief that she is suffering for a good reason. Please, let us not confuse issues. Bre ast feeding is not the same as bre ast sucking. Bre ast feeding is the process of feeding new born and infants with bre ast milk. It is this that has been medically proven to be of immense benefit to both mother and child and can prevent br east cancer. There are no scientifically proven studies indicating that bre ast sucking is of any medical benefit to the the woman whose bre ast is being sucked or the person doing the sucking.
However, what has been scientifically proven is the fact that bre ast sucking when properly performed is of immense pleasure to the woman and may sometime on its own lead to orgasm or when combined with some other forms of sexual stimulation will help a woman to achieve orgasm quicker. Again, neither has any research shown that sucking can give a woman cancer.
So ladies, please relax and allow your guys do the job for you. if you are not enjoying the way he is doing it, tell him. I can assure you, it’s a win-win situation.
