5 reasons why I dont read the Bible


(1) it's so full of contradictions makes me wonder if Gods the confused one or the humans who made it up

GE 1:3-5 On the first day, God created light, then separated light and darkness.
GE 1:14-19 The sun (which separates night and day) wasn't created until the fourth day.

GE 1:11-12 , 26-27 Trees were created before man was created.
GE 2:4-9 Man was created before trees were created.

GE 1:20-21 , 26-27 Birds were created before man was created.
GE 2:7 , 19 Man was created before birds were created.

(2) it's so fictional and weird
talking snake, four headed monster, born of a virgin mother, isreal God's favorite country etc

(3) makes me feel stupid tbh

take how animals got their stripes as example. common sense or logic proves over a long period of time, animals develop small changes in their colouring due to The distribution of the pigment particles in their system, climate conditions around where the animals live and so on. but the Bible in Genesis 30:37-39 says When the sheep mated in front of the rod, they gave birth to young that were streaked or speckled or spotted lol isn't that dumb and funny?

(4) it's not a holy book but a history book written by man. yes!! to think God has a particular book he honors the most out of thousands of holy books (Qur'an, Torah etc) around the world is just so funny

(5) I don't need the Bible to be spiritual, appreciate God and the gift of life and to be a good, honest human being.

I'm not here to tackle anyone or trash anyone's belief. i only stated my observations about the Bible.

probably the rope around its neck was too tight. same thing happened to my grandma in 2010 when the RAM she just bought for sallah died on its way home cus they didn't adjust the rope around its neck and it had difficulty breathing properly
