A Heartfelt Appeal to Hon. Usman Lade: Leadership Beyond Legal Battles, Lead with Grace, Not Grievance By Comr. Abdulkadir wokili Aluta cURRENcy In the spirit of unity and progress, I write this not as a critic, but as a brother' one who believes in the power of youth, the promise of leadership, and the strength of dialogue. Leadership is not just about holding office it’s about holding hearts. The recent legal tensions between Hon. Usman Lade, our Commissioner for Water Resources in Kwara State, and C.E.O Nupeko TV have stirred deep emotions across our community. But beyond the headlines lies a deeper question: what kind of leadership do we want to model for the next generation? This emotions has stirred concern among many of us who look up to you. Hon. Lade, you are not just a commissioner, you are a symbol of what is possible for young people in leadership. But with that honor comes a higher responsibility: to lead with patience, wisdom, and heart. Hon. Lade, you are a son of the soil, a youth who rose to serve, and a symbol of possibility for many but you must understand that Leadership Is Not Measured by Power, But by Patience It is natural for people especially the youth to question authority. It is not rebellion; it is engagement. It is not disrespect; it is democracy. When your own brothers challenge your office, the answer is not arrest or litigation. The answer is conversation. The answer is understanding. You cannot govern a people you silence. You cannot build a legacy by breaking the voices that might one day defend it. Be the Example We All Need: True leadership is tested not when things are easy, but when they are hard. When you are criticized, that is your moment to shine-not by retaliating, but by responding with clarity and compassion. Take inspiration from leaders like: - Late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua , who was praised for his humility and openness to dialogue, even with his fiercest critics. - President Olusegun Obasanjo was often challenged by civil society and youth groups, yet he responded with reforms and engagement. - Governor Babatunde Fashola , who faced intense scrutiny in Lagos but always found a way to explain his policies and win public trust. - Peter Obi , who continues to engage with critics through facts, not force. - Governor Nasir El-Rufai faced backlash during his tenure in Kaduna, but he used town halls and media to explain his policies. These leaders understood that criticism is not a threat or a curse it is a call to lead better. Hon. Lade, Be the Example. You have the chance to be remembered not for how you silenced dissent, but for how you embraced it. Arresting youth' especially those close to you-sends a message that power is fragile. But engaging them sends a message that power is purposeful. Hon. Lade, build Bridges, Not Walls. Tomorrow is still unwritten. The very people you face in court today may be the ones to carry your banner tomorrow. If you destroy them now, who will you govern later? Hon. Lade, your role is bigger than water, it’s about washing away division and irrigating unity. Let Nupeko TV and other youth voices become partners in progress, not opponents in court. Let your leadership be a fountain of wisdom, not a flood of fear. We are watching. We are hoping. And we are praying that you choose the path of peace, maturity, and legacy.

🔥 The Rise of a Real Estate Titan: Alh. Mayaki General In the heart of Lagos, where ambition meets adversity, one man has stood tall through storms designed to break him. *Alhaji Mayaki General,* a Nupe man, a believer in divine justice, and a champion of the people has emerged not just victorious, but legendary. They tried to bury him. They forgot he was a seed. To the enemies who plotted his downfall, to the loyalists who traded loyalty for envy, to the friends who turned their backs, and to the partners who betrayed the bond of brotherhood your silence now echoes louder than your schemes ever did. You watched him stumble, but you never understood that faith forged in fire cannot be extinguished. Alh. Mayaki General rose, not with vengeance, but with vision. Not with bitterness, but with brilliance. He built where others broke. He gave when others grabbed. He stood when others scattered. His name is etched in the foundation of every home he helped create. His impact is felt in the lives of families who now sleep under roofs they once only dreamed of. "The wind may bend the tree, but it cannot uproot the roots of righteousness. Surrender not to me, but to truth. For those who do good never fail, and never fall- they rise, again and again, until the world must bow.” Alh. Mayaki General is not just a man. He is a movement. A reminder that with God, grit, and grace, no betrayal can block destiny.
