Career / Re: Minimum Wage: Is The New Agreed Percentages For Basic PayOr Net Salary? by Wolexyoshi(m): 6:22pm On Oct 19, 2019
Please don't get yourselves confused.
Minimum wage is the money you earn at the end of service rendered, might be weekly or monthly.

Before now, 18,000 is the minimum wage in Nigeria and that is what Grade Level 01 earned in Civil Service.

Now that it is being increased to 30,000, that is what the lowest level in Nigeria which is Grade Level 01 will earn.

66.6% is the increment.

Here is how the calculation is.

18,000/100 = 180
180*66.6 = 11,988

For someone in Grade Level 01
18,000 + 11,988 = 29,988 (New Wage)

Those living at Okoko, Badadgry ,Eba, Alaba are now under a perpetual calamity. Their level of suffering depends on their destination.

This really made me laugh hard grin grin grin

What I still don't understand is the reason why Ambode abandoned the Mile 2 - Badagry bridge that Fashola started, and why Sanwo Olu has also decided to abandon some projects Amode started before he left. Even if they are all having rifts, can't they just put those shits aside and govern us well

Answer to your "Why" is that
1. Fashola has taken full payment of Mile 2 - Badagry bridge from the Treasury.
2. The project Sanwo-Olu abandoned, Ambode has gotten full payment on those projects.

But we Nigerian, if a present Governor wants to probe his predecessor, it is the same you that will be screaming.

UN studies have actually shown that students are more likely to pick up if the teacher speaks their home language. If a teacher with a large population of Tiv students teaches Physics in Tiv, more students are likely to understand and pass.

English is just one language not a universal language. What language do you think they teach Maths in in China?

Free your mind

Please tell him oooo. My English teacher way back in my Junior High School at Isolo High School, Mrs Omodunbi always add Yoruba to her teachings then and we enjoyed it. We all had good grades in our English language way back.

There is no cause for alarm. In as much what he is doing is in the best interest of the State.

As a civil servant in Lagos, we are in support of him.

Politics / Re: RIPAN To Begin Sale Of Rice At N13,300 Per Bag by Wolexyoshi(m): 6:52am On Sep 01, 2019
sonnie10:
I ton (20 of 50kg) of rice is $150 in Thailand and India
Dollar at 355; $150 is about 53k naira.
Meaning 20bags is 53k. Therefore one bag is #2650.

My question is, do Nigeria farmers use gold as fertilizer for for their own rice? With the huge difference in price, the temptation to continue to import is very high.

Your people imported those rice from Thailand and India and still sell it for 20k here.

Oya, blame somebody else
