PoliticsRe: More Photos Of President Buhari In His Office This Morning by worksmart(m):
[size=18pt]How does this change the fact that we have not seen the president face journalists and take questions?

All photos taken are pointless distraction from the fact that the president for intents and purposes, appears to be absent.

No press conference.

No appearance to inaugurate his own NAss.

No appearance to meet with APC lawmakers.

No appearance to declare his assets.

No appearance of him or his team to walking into Aso Villa for meetings.

No appearance on any live televised event anywhere.

The moment the peoples president appears in a live press conference to take journalists' questions on current issues then we know all is well.

For a new president of a new governing party, 2 days without a press conference is too long, talk less of 4 weeks.
Ghostlady:
not too long, he needs to access the government first... thus, the long wait...

Is 4 weeks not already too long?

PoliticsRe: Buhari To Appoint Laolu-Akande, As Osinbajo's Spokesman by worksmart(m): 8:13pm On Jun 21, 2015
Because Buhari for some reason has been unable to appear before journalists, or have a live press conference, it seems every evil deed that occurs is ascribed to him.

PoliticsRe: Reason Why Buhari Is Blocking DSS From Aso Rock by worksmart(m): 2:49pm On Jun 21, 2015
Op, so did the president forget that the defense house he moved into immediately could also be bugged?

Does that explain why didn't make an appearance to inaugurate his own NAss?

Or why he has not appeared in any televised live event in Nigeria since his inauguration?
PoliticsRe: Has Anybody In Nigeria Seen The President Since Inauguration? by worksmart(op): 12:07pm On Jun 21, 2015
This worrying - nobody seen him in Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Buhari To Merge EFCC, ICPC; 42 Ministries Reduced To 19-vanguard by worksmart(m): 11:58am On Jun 21, 2015
Something is not right. Buhari is not incompetent.

The Buhari I know would have released his ministerial list on 30th May 2015.

All this "I will do" type of news story that we are seeing whilst not seeing anyone anything being done - not even simple announcement of ministerial appointments, is reminiscent of a PDP administration.
PoliticsRe: Buhari To Merge EFCC, ICPC; 42 Ministries Reduced To 19-vanguard by worksmart(m): 11:45am On Jun 21, 2015
I can't hear anything until the president appears on live tv press conference.

Something odd that President Buhari did not make an appearance to inaugurate his own NAss.

Also odd that he has not been seen taking any questions from journalists since his inauguration.

Not to mention that the presidential villa remains unoccupied.

Add to the fact that he had done nothing at all but appear in photographs and short video clips usually abroad.
No ministers, no restructuring of military.

Let us stop reading daily nonsense news until we see the president explain what is going on at an open and live news conference.
PoliticsRe: President Buhari And His Son In His Farm Today (Photos) by worksmart(m): 10:28pm On Jun 20, 2015
Until I see President Buhari take questions from journalists on current events, I am going to find it hard to believe that all these images we are seeing daily were not recorded before inauguration.
PoliticsRe: A Presidential Villa Without The President - Olalekan Adetayo by worksmart(m): 7:27pm On Jun 20, 2015
Have considered it may be related to his not being seen on the day he was to inaugurate his own NAss?
butanep:
Whatever is stopping him from moving into the villa, we will know the true story very soon.

It's just a function of time(t).

He really has to start working, let him release names for ministerial nominee, we don't have much time left.
PoliticsRe: A Presidential Villa Without The President - Olalekan Adetayo by worksmart(m): 7:19pm On Jun 20, 2015
Was that a press conference?

Did you see any journalists putting questions to him?

There was only a single microphone he was speaking into suggesting it was not a press conference where journalists can ask questions

[size=18pt]Fellow Nigerians.

Your president has not made a live public appearance in Nigeria since his inauguration 3weeks ago.

The wheels appear to have come off the Change wagon.

Dark clouds of evil is enveloping the nation.

People in the North East are continuing to endure Chadian military jets bombing.

Now military jets are bombing people in the South.

Bill Gate is the man with a depopulation agenda. His vaccines will make Africans infertile.

We are on our own. Protect and defend yourselves and communities whilst remaining calm and non retaliatory at all times.

May the gods of our great noble ancestors continue to strengthen us against our enemies.

PoliticsRe: A Presidential Villa Without The President - Olalekan Adetayo by worksmart(m):
Am I the only person that finds this to be a serious cause for concern?

Especially since the president failed to appear to inaugurate his own NAss.

Especially since the president has not appeared in any live televised events in Nigeria including meetings with APC lawmakers.

Especially as the president has not been shown giving any interviews or answering any journalists questions any where.

Especially since even his transition team are not being photographed walking into attend daily meetings with the president.

Am I wrong to be deeply concerned?

How many of you have seen Buhari hold a press conference since his inauguration?

How many of you have seen Buhari at all in any live event in Nigeria since 29th May?

So how are you sure Buhari ordered the bombings, doesn't NAss have a voice?
PoliticsRe: Has Anybody In Nigeria Seen The President Since Inauguration? by worksmart(op): 4:57pm On Jun 20, 2015
Focus sir, focus. We have all seen his images abroad, but this thread is about the fact that he has not been seen at any televised live event in Nigeria.

How about if I tell you that he has not appeared in any televised press conference anyway in the world since his inauguration; This the despite the fact he has allegedly attended 2 state visits and two international summits yet we have not been shown any interviews with journalists, why?

There is a difference in seeing her in a live televised event (which I am saying she hasn't appeared in) and watching recorded footage that was filmed before inauguration.

If you are aware of any event after 29th May 2015, where she was televised live, please share.

The non appearance to inaugurate his own NAss is biggest cause for concern.
The way a letter was read out at the senate can be compared with how a similar letter allegedly from Yaradua was read out authorising the passing of the budget in his absence.

Nigerians stop believing any news story until Buhari appears at his first press conferences since inauguration and confirms it.

Do you even understand the crux of the argument andd the reason PMB is upset huh

1.Did tambuwal pick a deputy from the then ACN

2. Why is dogara not having the same pr nightmare despite also going into coalition with pdp.

That PMB publicly accepted a fait accompli doesn't not mean he privately supports it!!

If saraki didn't need to court pmb, he wouldn't be running from pillar to post,he wishes he could undo the ekweremadu thing cos he is never ever going to live that down.

Saraki is presently suffering from an image and credibility issue based on his past corrupt practices that only a public acknowledgement from pmb can salvage.

Did he also make foreign trips without appointing ministers in 1984?

Or fail to appear to inaugurate his own NAss?

Or fail to move into the presidential residence?

The wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, has relocated to the Presidential Villa, Abuja, barely three weeks after President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration was inaugurated.

Since they were inaugurated, Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo have been operating from outside the Presidential Villa.

This is despite the fact that both men have their official residences and offices inside the Villa.

Both of them have been operating from their private residences as well as the Defence House, official residence of the President-elect located at Maitama District, Abuja.

Our correspondent gathered that Mrs. Buhari formally relocated to the Presidential Villa on Thursday at a time when her husband was out of Abuja.

“Hajia (Buhari) arrived here (Presidential Villa) with her entourage at about 6pm on Thursday. She had relocated ahead of her husband. She passed the night here,” a Presidency official told our correspondent on Friday.

As of the time our correspondent visited the First Lady’s Wing of the Presidential Villa on Friday, some exotic cars were seen parked in front of the premises, an indication that Mrs. Buhari was playing host to some guests.

Another Presidency official told our correspondent that the President is expected to join his wife inside the Presidential Villa on arrival from his local trip.

Buhari had departed Abuja for Kaduna on Tuesday shortly after he arrived from South Africa where he took part in the just-concluded 25th Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.

He proceeded from Kaduna to his hometown, Daura, in Katsina State.

Buhari is expected back in Abuja from the journey described as “private trips” this weekend.

“The President is expected back this weekend. He will be expected to join his wife here on his arrival,” the source added.

Upon his formal relocation to the Presidential Villa, Buhari is expected to operate for the first time from his office on Monday.

As of the time of filing this report, Osinbajo and his wife have yet to relocate to the Villa.

It was not clear whether they will move in at the same time with Buhari.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, had told our correspondent that ongoing renovation work was hindering Buhari from moving into the Presidential Villa.

He had said, “As far as the President is concerned, the place (his official residence) is not ready yet. Workers are cleaning and refurbishing the place. Once the exercise is completed, the President will move in.”
