I've used both umidigi a3 and a3 pro, and I observed that they get hot and have poor battery life.

This device doesn't get hot. the battery is very strong for a 3180mah battery. I also observed that the battery seems to have improved over the time of usage. Yes, like I said in my review, I barely got 6hrs sot on first usage. The tweaking I did wasn't much. If I disable them, the battery will still last long. The battery just improved on its own.

Below is a screenshot of yesterday's intense usage. I played music on loudspeaker all through, and my data, as well, was on throughout.

At first, the battery of this device struggled to get 6hrs SOT, but after some little tweaks, I noticed a big improvement; every 10% now lasts 50-60 mins SOT– Meaning you should get roughly 8-9 hrs SOT. On normal usage, it will last you a a full day with roughly 30% left depending on your usage.

Note: my data was on throughout usage.

I also noticed that gta San Andreas doesn't consume much battery on this device. I played it for about an hour and lost only 10% of battery juice. This is commendable for a 3200mah battery.

On my A3 the brightness is always set to minimum since the phone is very bright except when I'm outdoors in the sun.


I downloaded Google camera today but I'm yet to use it.

I will upload photos once I have used it .

Umidigi cannot solve heating up issues, that are network related...

I have seen Umidigi devices used in Europe and America, and phone never heats up during downloading periods......

During gaming sessions, it does heat up.... But this is to be expected.........
