SemperFid: What I would do if I am in this situation is to look for the option that is most economically viable out of all the possibilities. It's a tough one but if you're coming from a place of limited or tight financial resources then Austria will be the like the best option. because if u pay the 7500, that takes away some huge financial burden. I'm actually prioritizing the one with the higher chance of visa success. The tuition is almost the dame for all countries. Bar scholarships or funding |

Are those countries perfect? No. Are their citizens satisfied with their leaders? No. Their jibes aren't like ours. Then when all these South Africans, Ghanaians, Kenyans and now the Namibians who equally have a lot going on their countries come here to read our derogatory comments about our own country and decide to get back at us, we complain. We need to learn how to talk even when we have a lot to say. It is wisdom. Lies. Go.online and see how Americans insult Trump or how Indians disparage their own country. Make una leave talk abeg |

Let's all pretend that we don't know that the Nigerian police and security agencies are masters of intimidation and repression.
The Nigerian government has been greatly efficient in silencing and repressing any talk of the ongoing security issues plaguing the country.
Even the mainstream media are hugely complicit, you'd find that they hardly report some of these menace and most of the reportage is done by private citizens on social media. |

Health › Re: Meet Prof. Okoronkwo K. Ogan: Nigeria’s First Obstetrician And Gynaecologist by Worryingly: 11:49am On Nov 26, 2025 |
FreeStuffsNG: Smh.
The 1st in Igboland and probably the 1st Igbo Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in defunct Eastern Nigeria
As at 1919 when he was born and was just suckling his mother's bosoms, some Yoruba families here in Lagos and Abeokuta, have already produced qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologists trained in top British schools. The Amalgamation of Southern and Northern Protectorate that eventually formed what later became Nigeria had not even been done when the Yoruba have produced world-class Obstetrician and Gynaecologists! The old money don't shout
Below is a picture of Massey founded in 1912 here in Lagos even before he was born and any Igbo stepped foot in Lagos and become exposed to the western sophisticated civilization and education already existing in Lagos and Abeokuta. This Massey Hospital predates Lord Lugard's amalgamation in 1914 and Nigeria's independence in 1960 as a country and all the professional Healthcare team were Yoruba. Descendants of these Yoruba Healthcare professionals running Massey with the British are still alive till date. They will just be laughing or shaking their heads at the ignorance of false claim that he is the first. It's a fraudulent claim, he's not the first.
The picture of Massey below was in1912 picture o, 7 years before he was born!
There has been qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Yorubaland even before he was born. First in Nigeria kọ, First in the Solar system ni.
Below is also pictures of Sacred Heart Hospital in Lantoro, Abeokuta founded in 1895 and an archive of University of Glasgow showing 2 Yoruba Medical Doctors graduating from their medical school in 1918 https://universityofglasgowlibrary./tag/james-churchill-vaughan/
Not everyone and especially old money families like to shout. Shouting/Bragging is for new money and awọn "ọmọ oju ori ọla ri" who just hit fame/money. I hate people arguing just for the sake of it. The discussion is specifically about who the first Obstetrucs and Gynaecologist in Nigeria is, not about who the first doctor is. O&G is a specialized field within medicine, so being the first doctor and being the first Gynaecologist are two different things. The claim being addressed is about specialization, not general medical practice. In your long reposte, you didn't provide evidence of any Obstetrician. Telling us there has been yoruba medical doctors is BS when the point of the post is Gynaecologist |

I would never understand why Nigerian recruiters don't declare salary on the job posting but will declare very long JDs. Almost left for them to include KPIs.
Is it that they already concede thta the salaries font fit the long JD?
Some will tell you it's becasei3 salary is negotiable. Which is BS. Any reputable or standard prganisation already have salary scale, hence they know what they will pay. |

SOPWriter: A CGPA of 2.8 is rarely sufficient for direct admission into Canadian Master's programs. However, universities often assess the most recent credential for eligibility, so her strong Nigerian Master's degree could improve her chances. With that, she can overshadow her poor undergraduate performance and undoubtedly demonstrate the aptitude to handle postgraduate-level works.
To strengthen her application, I recommend she target course-based Master's programs rather than research-based ones, as their acceptance rates are usually higher. It will also save her the hurdles of writing supervisors. She can further support her application with strong letters of recommendation from her postgraduate lecturers, including professors.
Note: A PhD is not advisable without a proven research track record, publications, or a very strong Master's thesis.
Wishing her good luck.
Thank you |

It's alarming and depressing how religion has been weaponised in Nigeria.
It s such that we belive creed or religion can fix all our problems. But I wonder if the nations that got it right did it through prayers.
If Nigerians pray and fast all day for our societal problems, I bet you nothing will change. But of we work all day to fix the country, something will change.
The politicians know these prayers are hogwash, but the followers don't. It's a shame. |

Hello everyone,
I'll be glad to get an informed advise on this.
My sister has a BSc in Political Sciencw and a Masters in International Relations. Unfortunately, her BSc CPGA is 2.8, but she finished her masters with an average of 74 over 100 which makes her eligible for a PHd here In Nigeria.
Now she wants to pursue another Masters in Canada.
1. Will Canadian universities accept her Nigerian Masters cert as her entry certificate, because her BSc CPGA is apparently too low to get her a Masters admission in canada?
2. We had considered her applying for a phd program, but the concern is that she hasn't been working with either certificate. So there may be issues with proving eligibility for a research position. Infact since her graduation, she has been working as a freelance UI/UX designer.
Please advise. I'll be really pleased to get experienced feedbacks. |

Maybe they live just like roommates and even their conversations are shallow and trivial.
It could also be that one of them is dumb, weak or subdued and afraid to reveal their true feeling or opinion on things so as to not offend or be judeged.
Or the whole thing could be a lie. Maybe they want outsiders to think they have a great marriage, so they make up stories about themselves.
Argument, quarrels tends to happen even with the coolest person around. The best part I guess about relationships is these small argument and the makeover after them where either husband or wife does their best to get their spouse back |
