sleekymicky: Oops! I was running on 2.3.3 also and srs root worked for me..... Are u connected to the internet when using srs root and was ur usb debugging on......if everything is all up and still nt working then use vision perm root....though i doubt vision....it bleeps up sometimes......but u cn also try Z4ROOT ZTE BLADE on 4shared.com......jst install the app nd den lauch and yu ll see temp root or perm root....click perm root nd wait for like 15mins n ure done........ U cn also try to go online nd download universal and.root....google it out nd download the file nd den root....bt im nt jst sure if htc G2 can use universal and root.....check d website furst to know if it works..... Bt ZTE BLADE worked for many people.......so try it out....
When u successfully root the phone den we cn go thru flashing senseswitch......

sleekymicky: Im using a G2 with a sensewitch rom....moderately cool bt it sometimes load my ram..... Bt nt really toooo heavy as such..... Thinkin bout changin to viper though nt its more like viper could even be heavier....cos viper rom is about 900MB......so still thinkin hard.....bt gettin d viper rom already though...

I think the best method is to just put d pc10img on d root of the sd card booth into booth loader then update the hboot let the phone reboot then it will hang then u remove d sd card from d phone put it in a card reader then delete the pc10img and places the sensewich Rom on d root of ths sd card then put d sd card into d phone booth into recovery and flash d Rom n u r good.

da 1st tin u nid to do is to root, go to srsroot.com to download d software den download d drivers pasted by bekas, afta dat connect ur fone to ur system bt maksure u mark usb debugging u can do dat by going to settings application then development and also unknow source in d setting then security. Afta dat instal those 2 software on ur systen open d drivers and wait for it to detect and instal drivers 4 ur fone afta dat instal nd open srsroot u downloaded and click root all method then u r done.

sleekymicky: hey bro. Fenks. I jst installed d Stockrom without pc. Got frustrated so I hard reboot my phone and den Placed the pc10IMG in d root of my sdcard and den boot into recovery mode. it installed all the updates automatically wit s off h boot and also updatin d radio but after dat the fone won't boot. I did a litle trick nd den I was able to boot into cwd recovery and den installed senseswitch....... running on senseswitch now with a ram of 798MB....... WITH HBOOT ND S-OFF. NICE.......
