Matter of fact, Ukraine's standing army was destroyed in late 2022. What you have now are forced conscripts, US, Polish, Georgian, French, NATO troops disguised as "mercenaries". Over 100,000 of them. Ukraine also recruited prisoners and former ISIS members to fight for them.
The US have provided over $350 billion for Ukraine, EU provided $100 billion plus. That's more than 8 times Russia's military budget in a year. Ukraine blew it in 2 years.
RUSSIA is always on the right side of history. Always on the winning side.
The US quickly realized the losing side and flipped to the right side of history, the winning side.
I bet you, future US history textbooks will talk of how they always supported the Russians from the onset of the war. They'll never say how they backed Ukraine. Just so they can partake in the glory.
They'll say Trump was the deciding factor of the war. Just like they claim the lend lease program won WW2, when in fact it was Russia who single handedly won the war. Killing 85% of the Nazis and capturing Hitler's bunker before he shot himself. The US killed only 3% of the Nazis but guess who's taking all the credit today?
🇺🇦 Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Sunday that he was “ready” to resign as leader if it meant it brought peace to his country, suggesting he could swap it for NATO membership.
Asked at a press conference if he was ready to quit if it ensures peace for Ukraine, Zelensky said: “If [it guarantees] peace for Ukraine, if you really need me to resign, I am ready. I can exchange it for NATO.”
The Ukrainian president previously said his country’s army will need to double in size if NATO denies it membership to the alliance. Earlier this month, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said that Kyiv joining NATO was unrealistic.
Zelensky’s comments follow an escalating spat between Zelensky and Donald Trump after the US president falsely accused Ukraine of starting the conflict. Trump later admitted “Russia attacked” but blamed predecessor Joe Biden and Zelensky for not stopping the fighting sooner.
When Zelensky hit back – accusing the US president of being in a “disinformation space” – Trump called Zelensky a “dictator,” straining ties at a pivotal moment in the conflict. US and Russian officials met in Saudi Arabia this week for “exploratory” talks about how to end the war but left Kyiv to watch from afar, sparking panic from European allies.
Overnight, Russia launched a record 267 drones at Ukraine, killing at least one person, in an unprecedented attack on the eve of the third anniversary of Russia’s war in the country, Ukrainian authorities said Sunday.
“Every day, our people are resisting aerial terror,” Zelensky said Sunday, adding that the overnight attack was “the largest attack since Iranian drones started hitting Ukrainian cities and villages.”
“We need to do our best to bring a lasting and just peace to Ukraine. This is possible in the unity of all partners – we need the strength of all of Europe, the strength of America, the strength of everyone who wants a lasting peace,” Zelensky said on X.
Think of it, a modestly successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talked the United States of America into spending $350 Billion Dollars, to go into a War that couldn’t be won, that never had to start, but a War that he, without the U.S. and “TRUMP,” will never be able to settle.
The United States has spent $200 Billion Dollars more than Europe, and Europe’s money is guaranteed, while the United States will get nothing back. Why didn’t Sleepy Joe Biden demand Equalization, in that this War is far more important to Europe than it is to us — We have a big, beautiful Ocean as separation.
On top of this, Zelenskyy admits that half of the money we sent him is “MISSING.” He refuses to have Elections, is very low in Ukrainian Polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden “like a fiddle.”
A Dictator without Elections, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left. In the meantime, we are successfully negotiating an end to the War with Russia, something all admit only “TRUMP,” and the Trump Administration, can do.
Biden never tried, Europe has failed to bring Peace, and Zelenskyy probably wants to keep the “gravy train” going. I love Ukraine, but Zelenskyy has done a terrible job, his Country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died – And so it continues.
🇺🇸 Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines flight operated by Endeavor Air CRJ700 plane from Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport to Toronto Pearson International Airport crash while landing at 🍁 Toronto Airport on February 17, 2025.
Reports indicate the aircraft experienced a flap actuator failure, causing a hard landing that led to the plane overturning near the runway.
Videos circulating online show thick plumes of black smoke rising from the wreckage, with the aircraft resting upside down. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to contain the situation and assist any passengers and crew onboard.
Authorities have yet to confirm details regarding injuries or casualties. Investigators are examining the circumstances leading to the mechanical failure and assessing the impact on airport operations.
The aircraft involved in the crash is Mitsubishi CRJ900, registered as N932XJ. Further, it is a 15.6-year-old aircraft and has been with Delta Connection since 2013. The aircraft is powered by Two GE CF34-8C5 engines.
