⚡Special forces exercises involving Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus occurred in Attica's Nea Peramos area from November 6 to 10, as reported by the General Staff of Greece's National Defense on the X social network. The maneuvers included live firing, techniques and tactics in sniper shooting, indoor combat, and the planning and conducting of small-scale exercises. These joint exercises are integral to the Joint Action Plan for 2023 between Greece, Cyprus, and Armenia. They aim to enhance mutual understanding and broaden operational capabilities among the participating forces.

⚡Lithuania and Poland will likely abandon the Harmony Link offshore cable project and build an onshore power line. This alternative will allow the project to be completed before 2030 and its implementation will be cheaper. Previously, the plan was frozen precisely because of high prices. The main question now is that the alternative in the form of an on-ground power line requires a political agreement between Vilnius and Warsaw and the approval of the European Commission. ⚡A new tank battalion has been formed on Poland's Eastern border. It will be located in Chartaevo, a settlement near Belarus border in the Brest region. The battalion will be equipped with South Korean K2 tanks and will be part of the 1st Infantry Division of the Legions. However, so far only a container camp has been located in Chartaevo, allegedly with the necessary infrastructure, and only in the coming years it is planned to expand permanent life support systems there. At the first stage of creating the unit, about a hundred military personnel will be stationed there, and eventually several hundred on permanent basis. |
