⚡ Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated that approximately 200 square kilometers of Armenian territory are currently under Azerbaijani control. "There are territories of Armenia that have been under Azerbaijani control since the 1990s. There are also more recent cases... [the total is] approximately 200 square kilometers of Armenian territory are now under the control of Azerbaijan's forces," Mirzoyan revealed when questioned on the issue during a parliamentary committee discussion. Until now, government officials had reported that 150 square kilometers of Armenian territory were occupied. This marks the first time an Armenian government official has presented a higher number.
