⚡A Russian kamikaze UAV entered NATO airspace and detonated near Plauru, a Romanian village yesterday. The UAV was part of a larger attack on the Ukrainian port city of Izmail, across the Danube River from Plauru. Romania's Defense Ministry announced an investigation into possible objects falling on Romanian territory. This incident follows a similar event in September 2023 when a Russian weapon struck Romanian territory.

⚡Belarus introduces visa-free regime for 35 European countries in response to accusations of migration crisis The Belarusian authorities have decided to introduce a visa-free regime for citizens of more than 35 European countries, Bloomberg reports. According to Alexander Lukashenko, this is due to the fact that Minsk intends to remain open and peaceful in the face of growing tensions in relations with its Western neighbors. From July 19, citizens of the EU, Great Britain and a number of other European countries will be allowed to enter Belarus through all road and railway checkpoints with a stay of up to 30 days, according to a message on the website of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry. This scheme will be in effect until the end of this year.

Because the US introduces theirs first then Russia makes theirs to counter them. So technically US weapons are usually far older. |

⚡The Russian labor market opens doors for African specialists In Russia there is a sharp increase in the number of vacancies for African workers. According to the HeadHunter service, in the first half of 2024, the number of vacancies for Africans increased 39 times in Kenya, 15 times in Zimbabwe and 9 times in Cameroon. Migrants from Africa work in various fields: construction, agriculture, warehouses and in high management positions. Among non-African countries, the largest increase in the number of vacancies was noted in Albania, Pakistan and Belgium. Kazakhstan and Belarus are leaders in the EAEU countries. Among the far abroad countries, Türkiye and Serbia are ahead. In Europe, vacancies increased in Italy and decreased in Germany. The main areas of attracting specialists: sales, IT and marketing.
