⚡Viktor Orbán, in a letter to European Council President Charles Michel, calls for the resumption of diplomatic relations with Russia and negotiations with China about a peace conference to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported by the newspaper Bild. Orbán also believes that if Trump wins, he could become a mediator in peace negotiations. "Immediately after winning the election, he will not wait for the inauguration but will be ready to act as a peace mediator immediately. He has detailed and well-founded plans in this regard," Orbán's letter says.

Islamic-oriented Hamas has ruled Gaza since 2007 amid an Israeli siege and blockade. Reconciliation between the two parties is seen as important for the future of post-war Gaza. China sought to mediate between the two groups during a first round of talks in Beijing in April.

⚡Trump's running mate J.D. Vance is REALLY bad news for Ukraine JD Vance: Any person with a brain knows that the conflict in Ukraine will end in negotiations. The idea that Ukraine will push Russia back to the 1991 borders is ridiculous, no one really believes in it. Ukraine is functionally destroyed as a country. The average age of a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer is 43. This is tragic. It is in America's best interest to recognize that Ukraine will have to cede some territory to the Russians, and we need to end this war.
