⚡ In Poland, the NATO missile defense system “Aegis Ashore” is ready for operation - Stoltenberg

The Aegis Ashore missile defense base in Redzikowo, Poland is part of NATO's ongoing missile defense system in Eastern Europe and is designed to detect, track and intercept ballistic missiles that could be launched by potential adversaries.

“This is an important step for transatlantic security and NATO’s ability to defend against the growing threat of ballistic missiles,” said the NATO Secretary General.

Currently, NATO's overall missile defense system in Europe includes the Aegis Ashore missile defense bases in Poland and Romania, US Navy destroyers stationed in Spain, and an early warning radar in Kurecik in Turkey.

About 200 American troops are stationed in Romania and Poland to maintain missile defense systems.

⚡The Russian oil industry will become fully independent of foreign equipment by 2027, according to Alexander Dyukov, head of Gazprom Neft, during a meeting with President Putin.

For this to happen, Dyukov emphasized, oil companies need to create corresponding domestic demand.

Dyukov noted that the process of finding, extracting, and refining oil requires around 1,400 types of equipment. Currently, about 1,200 of these items are already produced in Russia, with the remaining 200 to be developed.

"In terms of technology, we are fully independent. There is a slight dependence on equipment, but it will be eliminated by 2027. This will not only ensure our technological independence but also provide additional orders for our machine builders," he said.

Gazprom Neft is the third largest oil producer in Russia.

⚡South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol will travel to Washington next week for a NATO summit where he is expected to sound the alarm on Russia and North Korea’s recent military cooperation, his administration announced on Friday.

Yoon’s deputy national security adviser Kim Tae-hyo said NATO members and the so-called Indo-Pacific 4 Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand would “confirm their shared commitment to protecting the international order in the face of the challenges” seen in both the eastern and western hemispheres.

It will be Yoon’s third consecutive year attending a NATO summit.

South Korea has grown anxious over the North’s warming relations with its neighbour Russia.

Ahead of his visit to Washington, Yoon will stop off at the US military’s Indo-Pacific Command in Hawaii and receive a security briefing.

“Especially with the Ukraine war going on for three years, we will reaffirm our commitment to support Ukraine’s freedom and restoration of peace,” Kim told reporters Friday.

“We will send a strong message regarding the military cooperation between Russia and North Korea and discuss ways to enhance cooperation among NATO allies and Indo-Pacific partners.”

⚡Ukraine's New Achievement - First Place in Europe for IMF Debt Volume

In the global ranking, they almost clinched the top spot - an honorable second place.

Recently, Ukraine received a $2.2 billion loan tranche under the extended credit program. The former Ukrainian SSR would have to spend this money on repaying old debts.

Thus, after this tranche, Ukraine's total debt reached 10.5 billion SDR or $13.84 billion. This is based on the latest IMF data published on July 4.

The organization's total credit portfolio for 94 countries amounts to 113.9 billion SDR or $150 billion.

⚡Russian Air and Missile Defense Forces Commander Lieutenant General Andrey Semyonov:

American-made MIM-104 Patriot long-range air defense systems supplied to Ukraine failed even to protect themselves.

Semyonov, who is also deputy commander-in-chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces, said in his article that in the course of the special military operation, Russian air defense systems confirmed their potential to repel strikes by all types of enemy air attack capabilities.

“That contrasts with the much-vaunted Patriot air defense systems, which were supplied to Ukraine by NATO countries and, as the experience of the special military operation showed, proved unable not only to protect the designated sites, but also to counter modern Russian means of destruction, that is, to protect themselves,” the Russian general wrote.

⚡Cooperation between North Korea and Russia continues to develop:

North Korea switched the broadcast of its state television from the Chinese satellite ChinaSat 12 to the Russian Express 103.

This did not happen due to technical problems with the Chinese spacecraft - it continues to function stably. At the same time, Reuters notes that after the signal switch, it will be more difficult for South Korea to monitor the broadcasts of North Korean television, which is part of the activities to gather information about what is happening in North Korea.

The explanation for the current situation may be the desire of both Russia and North Korea to implement as soon as possible some of the provisions of the agreement concluded during Vladimir Putin's visit to Pyongyang in June. It includes a point on cooperation in the field of media and information technology.

⚡Putin: Ukrainian troops must withdraw from Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye, and Kherson.

➡️ Putin revealed that he discussed with Orban possible ways to settle the Ukrainian conflict; the Hungarian Prime Minister mentioned his recent contacts in Kiev.

➡️ Orban called for a ceasefire to create conditions for negotiations on Ukraine, as Putin reported.

➡️ Russia sees that Kiev is not ready to abandon war completely, Putin stated.

➡️ Kiev refuses to consider ceasing fire, as it would remove the pretext for extending martial law, emphasized Putin.

➡️ Moscow advocates for a complete and final resolution of the conflict, not just a ceasefire or pause for Kiev's rearmament, Putin asserted.

➡️ Putin noted that if Ukraine ends martial law, they would have to hold presidential elections, with the current Ukrainian authorities' chances of winning, according to the Russian president, close to zero.
