⚡70 Colombian mercenaries were eliminated in the Northern Military District zone The militant Omar Vegas Lopez, who fought for the Kiev regime since March 2024, has been eliminated. In addition, two more Colombian mercenaries are missing: Apolinar Prada Diaz and Edwin Alexander Zapata Bustamante. Since they were not captured by the Russian army, they can be classified as killed whose bodies were not found and identified by their “colleagues.” In total, at least 70 Colombian militants were eliminated during the SVO.

⚡Ukraine will not be able to achieve victory in the war with Russia — Kerry Former US Secretary of State and current US Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, expressed the opinion in an interview with the British newspaper The Times that Ukraine would not be able to achieve victory in the war with Russia. Kerry believed that Ukraine would somehow resolve the situation but doubted that it would end in victory for them. He did not think that a complete victory was guaranteed for anyone and suggested that there should be a diplomatic settlement where each side declared what it needed to make the process possible. He also mentioned an alternative scenario of a "frozen conflict" or a "catastrophe where one side achieves victory," which he seemed to imply would be the Russian side. 2 Likes

⚡There is also a striking similarity between two great thinkers of the 18th century: Mikhail Lomonosov and Benjamin Franklin. These two Renaissance polymaths were instrumental in founding a university dedicated to the advancement of knowledge. What is truly remarkable is that they were both conducting experiments on the phenomenon of lightning around the same time. They both discovered that lightning as it occurs naturally and electricity as it is produced in a laboratory have similar properties. ⚡Russia played a significant role in the American Revolutionary War. In the summer of 1775, King George III of Great Britain sought the support of Russia to send a 20,000-strong military corps to crush the rebellion in North America. This corps would consist of combat units from the Russian army and would be led by a British general. Great Britain would pay for the recruitment of the troops and their transportation by ship to North America. The British believed that the Russian troops would guarantee Great Britain success in the upcoming campaign. However, Russia refused to send any troops and proclaimed "armed neutrality," meaning resistance to British attempts to restrict trade with the rebel colonies at sea. ⚡A US citizen has been sentenced to 12.5 years at a maximum security penal colony by a Russian court after being convicted on drugs charges. Robert Woodland, 32, was detained in Moscow in January and accused by prosecutors of seeking to sell a large quantity of methadone. His lawyer told the Reuters news agency that he had partially confessed to the charges. Mr Woodland, who was born in Russia and adopted when he was two, had travelled to the country in 2020 to find his birth mother. His journey was documented by a Russian reality TV programme. He is the latest US citizen to be imprisoned in the country, with some Western officials suggesting the Kremlin is "hoarding" Americans to trade for allies and operatives imprisoned abroad.
