⚡Russian troops eliminated “the best sniper in France” As a result of a missile attack on the location of foreign mercenaries in Kharkov, Ernesto Barbieri, considered the best sniper in France, was killed. Mitsotakis replied that the Patriot battery is in Saudi Arabia for geopolitical reasons, because Greece wants to be present in the region, where there is also a lot of unrest. "As you know, we have also sent a frigate to the Red Sea because we are interested in freedom of navigation for many, I think, understandable reasons. But with one difference: the Patriot battery from Saudi Arabia can return to Greece within a few days, and if you transfer a battery to Ukraine, it is not sent back. ⚡European countries continue to pay increased attention to the Asia-Pacific region. Amid the imminent start of talks between the French and Filipinos over a defense agreement, Germany has said it will hold ground force exercises with Japan next year. This will be the first bilateral training with the participation of such contingents (before that, the Germans conducted only sea and air exercises with the Japanese). Earlier this year, the two sides signed an agreement aimed at facilitating logistical support for the joint maneuvers. The exercises are symbolic in nature (especially against the background of US military activity in the Asia-Pacific region). But since Germany in principle does not have any tangible positions in the region, they are trying to build it up in this way. |

⚡An F-16 fighter jet crashed at a military airbase in Singapore on Wednesday with no casualties, the defence ministry said. “The pilot successfully ejected and the plane crashed thereafter within Tengah Air Base,” it said in a statement. “The pilot is conscious and able to walk. He is receiving medical attention and no other personnel are hurt.” The ministry said the Singapore jet “experienced an issue during take-off and the pilot responded in accordance with emergency procedures.” It added that it had begun investigating the crash. Such incidents are extremely rare in the city-state with the most advanced air force in Southeast Asia. “The last time we had a fighter jet crash incident was 20 years ago,” Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen said on Facebook, referring to a 2004 incident that happened in Arizona in the United States during training."
