⚡Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday said it would be “suicidal” for Europe to offer the Kremlin concessions to halt its invasion of Ukraine.

Speaking to European leaders at a summit in Hungary, Zelensky blasted those who were urging him to give in to some of President Vladimir Putin’s hardline demands, and urged Europe and the United States not to loosen ties following the election of Donald Trump.

“There has been much talk about the need to yield to Putin, to back down, to make some concessions … It’s unacceptable for Ukraine and suicidal for all Europe,” Zelensky said, according to a copy of the address provided to AFP by the Ukrainian presidency.

He accused some European leaders, without specifying who, of “strongly” pushing Ukraine to make “concessions to Putin” — something Kyiv says would only embolden the Kremlin leader and encourage further aggression.

“We need sufficient weapons, not support in talks. Hugs with Putin won’t help. Some of you have been hugging him for 20 years, and things are only getting worse,” Zelensky said.

The summit was being hosted by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who has repeatedly railed against the West’s multi-billion dollar support to Kyiv.

If you've been following the war since day one, you'd know.

In the early days of the war Ukraine used to publish the number of foreign mercenaries" killed in action while fighting Russia but they stopped a while ago.

As at that time they were already 75,000 NATO mercenaries from Poland, US, Georgia, Germany, France in Ukraine.

Instead follow Ukranian military channels on telegram. They post everything. Even show the US soldiers in their ranks.

They think we are all stupid. Over 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers are already been trained in various western countries. Even pilots.

Several NATO generals have been killed by Russian strikes on their bunkers in Ukraine.

Hundreds of thousands of British, US, French, Polish troops have all fought in Ukraine, disguised as mercenaries.

If you've been following this conflict you'd have known. It's nothing new.

Russia even allowed the US troops to pass through its territory to enter Afghanistan.

For one, Trump was unpredictable. And I believe that would work well to deter Putin from overplaying his hand.

Even if Putin invaded to show that he's very serious about Ukraine NATO membership, I believe the April 2022 ceasefire negotiations would have been upheld by Trump and the war would have ended there and then. Remember Russia performed badly initially.

Many military analysts even from USA (eg Rtd Col MacGregor) knew this from the beginning and had been saying from the beginning that it's futile to encourage Ukraine to fight a nuclear-powered Russia. Negotiations, accords, concessions and agreements is the best way to engage with Russia. Trump would have opted for negotiations, and never give Zelensky blank cheque to prolong the war.

So you get sense like this lol
