But there's no stomach right now any longer to fund the Ukrainians. Basically, the [Ukrainian] counteroffensive failed, and there's no way that they can pick it back up and turn things around,” Michael Maloof, a former Pentagon official, told Sputnik. If opposition to bankrolling the Kiev regime continues to grow, “there is an alternative that the administration is working on,” Maloof said, referring to the frozen Russian assets in certain Western banks. ⚡A "massive" number of Chinese weaponry used by Palestinian terrorists has been seized by the IDF in Gaza, Israel's N12 reports. The report, which is unsourced, says Israel’s political leadership has been shown examples of the weaponry involved. It says “nobody thinks” the weapons have been delivered on Chinese ships. But the quantities of weaponry involved indicate that they have been brought to Gaza in an organized supply process, rather than by ad hoc smuggling, the report says. 1 Like

⚡The Palace Hotel Kharkiv, a 5-Star Luxury Hotel in the Eastern Ukrainian City of Kharkiv was Struck by a Russian S-300 Ballistic Missile tonight causing Severe Damage to the Building and at least 15 Civilians to be Injured. Russians are claiming that the Strike was a Response to the “Ukrainian Attack” earlier today against the City of Belgorod which Killed at least 10 Russian Civilians.

⚡China's coast guard is planning to deploy its vessels near a group of islands in the East China Sea to which both Beijing and Tokyo lay claim, known as the Diaoyu Islands in China and the Senkaku Islands in Japan, on a permanent basis next year, conducting inspections of Japanese fishing boats, if necessary. The Kyodo news agency reported on Saturday, citing sources familiar with the matter, that the plan was prepared after Chinese President Xi Jinping, during a visit to the East China Sea regional command of the coast guard, stated the need to "constantly strengthen" efforts aimed at protecting China's territorial sovereignty and maritime rights. The Chinese leader also called for combating illegal activities at sea in accordance with the law and supporting China's maritime economy.

⚡The AFU shelled the centre of oblast capital Belgorod, two children killed. The AFU deliberately hit Belgorod - three columns of thick black smoke are rising above the city. As Governor Gladkov said, according to preliminary information, two children were killed, there are injured. The strikes hit the residential sector as well, with the city centre suffering the most damage. At the moment, several cars are on fire - structures nearby have also been damaged, glass has been broken in houses. A local skating rink and department store, which had been operating in the run-up to the holidays, have also been hit. Emergency services are on the scene and the death toll is expected to rise.
