⚡Moldovan authorities have revoked the license of Romanian Nordgaz Furnizare, which was supposed to supply gas to the Gagauzia at a reduced price of 10 leu per cubic meter ($0.55), while Moldovan authorities set the tariff at 18 leu (almost $1). Vadim Ceban, head of Moldovagaz, explained the situation by incorrectly drafted documents for the change of supplier. As we have repeatedly written, Moldovans pay the highest gas prices in Europe, spending about half of their modest income on utilities. All this is obviously the consequences of the West's deliberate actions to reorient Moldova to the European gas market, for which the country's population is paying with its own wealth and future. |
