⚡US gained access to 35 military facilities in Northern Europe: 🔻 On December 6, Sweden signed an agreement with the U.S., according to which the latter gets access to 17 military bases, facilities and training grounds in Sweden. 🔻 On December 18, a defense agreement was signed between Finland and the U.S. allowing the latter unrestricted access to 15 military facilities not only for the deployment of contingents, but also for the storage and deployment of equipment and ammunition. Rissala Karelia Air Command Air Base, which is only 137 kilometers from the border with Russia, is among the facilities. 🔻 On December 21, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen signed a defense agreement in Washington with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, under which the states can station their troops at three air bases and one port, as well as form a military police corps in the country.

⚡Moldovan authorities have revoked the license of Romanian Nordgaz Furnizare, which was supposed to supply gas to the Gagauzia at a reduced price of 10 leu per cubic meter ($0.55), while Moldovan authorities set the tariff at 18 leu (almost $1). Vadim Ceban, head of Moldovagaz, explained the situation by incorrectly drafted documents for the change of supplier. As we have repeatedly written, Moldovans pay the highest gas prices in Europe, spending about half of their modest income on utilities. All this is obviously the consequences of the West's deliberate actions to reorient Moldova to the European gas market, for which the country's population is paying with its own wealth and future. 1 Like |

⚡European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) monitors have conducted a security situation awareness patrol in Sotk adjacent to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Currently, the Sotk mine is not operating, due to constant shelling by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. ⚡Yesterday, pro-Iranian groups of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq again launched a kamikaze UAV attack on American Harir base near Erbil. Judging by the results, American air defense systems were unable to intercept the UAVs and three American servicemen were injured, one of the wounded being in critical condition. After this attack, U.S. Army targeted three positions of the Iraqi People's Militia. ⚡The New York subway fire left nine people injured. Passengers could not get out of the train, whose doors were not opening while the smoke was filling the carriages. The reason was reportedly an e-bike that was thrown on the tracks. The city emergency crews are working at the location in Brooklyn. The investigation is trying to determine how the e-bike could appear on the subway tracks.

⚡The first group of Ukrainian pilots (6 people) completed the basic training program in the UK and began training on F-16 fighters in Denmark. The training began in August and included piloting and special training in aviation terminology in English. A further ten trainees remain in Britain for basic flight training, aeromedical training and centrifuge training. |

⚡Ukraine has described the appearance of summons checkpoints in Kiev as a "drill". Ukrainian authorities have told residents that the checkpoints in Kiev are a "drill" and are only there to check documents. The checkpoints have appeared in various parts of the city and will remain in place for a few days. "The 'drills' include, among other things, the setting up of temporary roadblocks, the installation of restrictive signs, elements of technical barriers". Locals, however, disagree - the military have blocked the roads and are stopping all passing cars to hand out summonses. Cordons have also been seen in other regions.
