1. Those questions cannot help you in the case of 221g, because 221g is settled via individual case demands. Mr A 221g can be resolved within 2-weeks , while Mr B 221g can take 1 - year , and Mr B might even get arrested if need be.

Please has anyone with immigrant visa 221g been issued with the last six months at the lagos embassy? has any one with immigrant visa 221g been able to contact the embassy on either email or phone call? Has anyone with immigrant visa 221g been migrated from previous visa service provider ustraveldocs to usvisaappt because I haven’t been able to get responses from the emails sent nor able to get them on phone and it’s 120 days after interview and 60 days after document submission.thank you in advance to anyone with useful info

1. 221g maximum processing time is 30 - 60 days but it can be indefinite if there is need for the USA embassy to dig further into your case or perhaps " your application might have been displaced.

1. Contact the USA embassy only if 60 days have passed after you have submitted the requested document (s). If it is not up to 60 days that you have submitted the required documents, the embassy won't reply your query.

PS: No action is needed on your part while administrative process is on going. Once your submitted documents is verified, your visa will be issued.

please any idea about the current wait time of 221g after submission of requested document as mine is over 60 days and 120 days after interview, i also have a friend who is over 150 days after submission and over 5 months after interview

quick update and Question for the house:

I. some Fb group is showing that some IR1 August DQ got IL yesterday. I guess expectation of IL for EB (candidates with available visa in the visa bulletin) is not far-fetched in coming weeks. earliest 1st week september

II. In case anyone has update about Police clearance certificate requirement (old vs new) kindly inform the house. I had the "old"one done in february '23. I am trying to be reasonably proactive.

Police report is valid for 2 years from date of issue so the old one of below two years is still valid
