Hello house,
I've been a silent reader for about a month. I got my F1 Visa approved on the 6th of February. The interview was slightly uneventful.
I was scheduled to interview at 9am but I arrived about an hour earlier. I got called in around 10:30am. I was nervous so I packed every document that came to mind. The VO that attended to me denied 2 people in front of me (one of the them with funding for an MBA so I was really worried). When it got to my turn, I was reluctant to move forward till he called me
VO: Please pass me your documents Me: Handed them over VO: So you're going to Baton Rouge Me: Yes, I got an offer bla bla bla (cuts me off and continues typing) VO: Congratulations. Where do you say you work again? Me: I work at company xyz. VO: (Confirms the information from my DS-160). I'll be be approving your visa, please go over to booth 22 to make your payment. Hands me the slip with instructions on retrieving my passport.
I'm grateful to God.
This interview was an emergency appointment however I had also scheduled a regular appointment for the 18th of December. I'll be cancelling it soon (tonight). I'm posting this so others on this forum without appointments can potentially book their appointments before January. |

tmphoto: It can be a issue as per the time of arrival, so you’ll have to had an agreement with any Uber driver before the day about the time he is able to come pick you the next day
There are guys outside as read from here who could hold safe your belongings for you for just like 1k Noted, thanks |

tmphoto: Brotherly you better avoid village people, that thought of wanting to order Uber to the interview just quickly dash it now, except you are able to make an agreement with the Uber driver a day before the interview.
I believe there might be ATM’s around but still it’s better to hold the cash at hand. I don't understand. Please is ordering Uber's an issue especially if you reside in Lagos not too far from the embassy? I've been thinking about handling my phone too. How much does it cost for someone to hold on to it? |

This story is true as compared to one lunkhead Akin who is desperately seeking attention and posted a reported false story. The oaf can't even write correct english. This story is truly from the horse's mouth. Nice one |
