An average Kenyan is lighter than an average Nigerian. I have never known otherwise. I know, just like every white person you have seen Obama's dad, Lupita and our Nandi tribe runners on tv.. They are all from Nilotic groups of African people who are really cute in dark skin and proud without the need to lighten/bleaching their skin color like your referenced "light skin" celebrities(or the 3 mixed race men in every of your movie). I will let you educate me as I educate you if I am wrong. The people you see running make a less percentage of Kenyan population but are so significant. Now learn this: We have Bantus like Kikuyus, Kambas, Merus, Taita and Cushites like Kenyan Somali tribe, Borana/Oromo etc. In some of these groups a majority wear a lighter skin naturally- don't blame us we can't all run. Those memes are lit but if the only thing every Nigerian can make a meme about Kenyans being dark skin then It's time we take African studies seriously. Nas, Drake etc know better hahaha. On a lighter note: Maybe I was wrong also to believe from birth that every Nigerian is Ugly, can't speak English, Have no electricity since birth and they sell internet bundles on CNN while in Kenya I can call my Mama every night on Fiber-optic.
