A good many women dont understand how a man operates. She probably has tormented the mans life for years...then he had a four years break, and now shes back, how do you expect him to react? Female folks should learn from this. |
uuzba:This is what it is. We all have ancestral lands filled with resources. These lands and resources have been bought, in some cases claimed, of course without our consent. Now we live like strangers on our lands. The day we rise up to speak, we are silenced with brutal force. Because this whole game was started by the British, they continue to supervise it in the world stage. That leaves us helpless and hopeless. Nigeria is not our own. It belongs to those who have purchased it. |
Wallade:Corruption of the cabal in the NNPCL. Subsidy removal removed the meat from the mouths of the cabal. During the subsidy, these people were just coming up with fictitious humongous figures for subsidy payment monthly. They were sharing free monies. Now, subsidy is removed and Dangote refinery is completed in time to be able to refine crude, which will mean it will be cost effective to refine with Dangote than going to a foreign country. Another blow for the cabal. Initially, they didn't want to give crude to Dangote. Since the food has been removed from their mouths and it looks like it will be Dangote who will be benefitting from the turn of things, now, they have worked so hard to revive the refineries, something that was once impossible to accomplish, all to make sure Dangote does not become a sole benefactor of the turn of things. Their action brings competition, which is a good thing, but why did they wait until now, why did they not revive the refineries when there was subsidy and they were exporting crude to be refined outside Nigeria?. Simple answer is that, NNPCL are doing this now, not because they care about Nigerians. This is why although it is a laudable move to revive the refineries, it is also a vengeful action and reminds us that we don't matter to government. PS: I do not support Dangote either, who is a business man and sometimes has been known to employ monopoly to succeed. |

Wallade:I see your point. The competition definitely will help push the price down. Still begs the question; if they could revive the refineries, why wasn't it done all these year? |
So for many years, they made sure that our refineries didn't work...now because of some useless fight for their pockets with Dangote, they are now reviving the refineries in order to frustrate Dangote. NNPCL is the villain here. All they care about is their pocket. They're not reviving the refineries because they love Nigerians so much and think we're a sweetheart and we've suffered so much, but they're just getting at Dangote. This mentality I will say in indigenous to Nigeria particularly. This is the same mentality our politicians have, the same mentality our governors, Senators, Local government chairmen, councillors etc have. It's not about the people, but about the themselves. That being said, it's not surprising cos when you consider the fact that the resources in Nigeria was bought by the British and probably still run by the British through proxies, you begin to understand why even down to the grassroot its a business mentality we all have. It's about "what's in it for me?" There is no patriotism, there hasn't been and there will never be any patriotism in Nigeria, which by the way is just a paper republic. So, until we destroy the building from the foundation and rebuild what we can die for, we are doomed as a people. |
I regret being too quiet, peaceful and understanding. i'm 35 years old and a middle child in my family. My parents figured out that i was the easiest child to deal with. i didnt get angry when i was cheated on, i easily forgave, i obeyed without complain. Today, my elder brother who is a year older than me is in Alberta, Canada, He moved this time last year with his wife and kid. He was given all the authority in the family with the demise of my father. He had two cars which he sold before he travelled. My younger brother who is 32 years old has been in Wisconsin, USA since 2020. He was considered the black sheep of the family. You couldve seen the way my parents spoke about him before he travelled. To them, he was the one who brought shame and embarrassment to the family. He was dating this girl with plenty money in the U.S, she came to Lagos just after his NYSC in 2020, they got married and she took him to the states. Right now, he's moms favorite. Then there's me, i've tried to be more of a go getter, but i'm still struggling. i wish i did what i wanted, i wish i didnt always want to be in the good books of my parents, maybe, just maybe, i wouldve been in a better place. |
I applied for the customer service representative role. They sent me the message asking for my transcript. My concern is why we would pass the interview stage without a virtual interview, why so many people would pass the online assessment test (I know 23 people who applied and all 23 passed the assessment and got the message asking for their transcript) and why they would ask for transcript before the job offer. As far as I know, they could also be selling people's information to bigger scam agencies that deal on jobs and scholarships. If they got your transcript, that's all they need to apply for funds using your identity. They are Nigerians. It's a Nigerian scam group. Funny thing or not so funny is that some person's have admitted sending their transcripts and they haven't still had an acknowledgement from them. |
