SMUAG:In 2013, Iron Man 3 grossed a billion, and yet MoS the certified billion dollar grosser releasing with no CBM competition and sitting in cinema for 4 whole months, only ended up with $668M 😂😂😂 Snyderbots defense: well, it broke even and made profits 😂😂😂 Superman breaks even and makes profits That same Snyderbots: Superman is a flop 😂😂😂 Okay ohhhh. This is seriously entertaining 😂😂😂 #Xavier |
SMUAG:In just 35 days, Superman broke even and made profits, likewise crushing MoS in multiple areas, all these while facing competition from F4 (I'm not even including Jurassic World and others ohhhh), unlike MoS that spent 4 months in cinema with no CBM competitions just to break even and make profit 😂😂😂 #Xavier |
SMUAG:Half of the audience when F4 was released two weeks later, unlike MoS that couldn't get the audience of Iron Man 3 or TDK trilogy despite riding on the back of the TDK trilogy with no CBM competitions for 4 freaking months 😂😂😂 #Xavier |
SMUAG:So MoS is a flop then 😂😂😂. Thanks for that very important information 😂😂😂 #Xavier |
SMUAG:Snyderbots are praying so hard for the DCU to be cancelled, but unfortunately for them, the DCU ship has sailed thanks to the positive performance of Creature Commandos and Superman. Peacemaker S2 will contribute to solidifying that. What's left for the Snyderbots to do is hate and wail, and run around with conspiracy theories 😂😂😂. #Xavier |
SMUAG:More like what don't they have in common? Answer: Meeting Zaslav and Gunn's expectations of Breaking even, making profits, officially launching the DCU, and finally killing and burying the Snyderverse 😂😂😂 #Xavier |
SMUAG:Only minority went out to see the movie despite the fact that F4 was released just two weeks after Superman hence splitting CBM audience, guy you dey reason so? 😂 Let's me ask a simple question, how was Superman BO performance before F4 released? 😂 Now let me ask another question, if Iron Man 3 was released two weeks after MoS, does anyone here think that MoS would have seen $500M with the way it preformed without any CBM competition, not to talk about spending 4 months in theater?😂 Another question, if Superman grossing $581M in 35 days equate to few people seeing the film, then what does MoS grossing $668M in 4 months mean then? VERY FEW PEOPLE SAW THE FILM... 😂😂😂 But of course, Snyderbots don't think. These questions mean nothing to them because it's beyond them... 😂 But here's the fact, one I will always echo, if Superman is a flop, MoS is a flop. But if MoS is a success due to breaking even and making profits, then Superman is successful. You can't have it both ways. 😂😂😂 #Xavier |
SMUAG:Number one, where did I mention COVID-19. Tell me you don't read without telling me you don't read. Next time read to understand before rushing to make a statement out of ignorance. But it would be a miracle to expect anything different from an unhinged Snyderbots 😂 Now onto other matters, is it not in that same 2013 that we had; ** Iron Man 3 --- $1.2B ** Despicable Me 2 --- $954.2M ** Hunger Games: Catching Fire --- $853.9M ** The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smuag --- $834.4M But MoS that had; ** Favourable condition due to; --- DC having a strong film brand --- Riding on the success of TDK trilogy --- Having Christopher Nolan being involved in it as its producer and scriptwriter ** Having no comic book competition; Iron man 3 was released 6 weeks before, and The Wolverine was released 6 weeks after. ** Being in cinema for a whooping 4 months ... Still ended up grossing $668M 😂😂😂. MoS have such good favorable conditions and advantages that WB, the media, and industry analyst were expecting this movie to be a billion grosser, but unfortunately everyone was heavily disappointed. Snyderbots response? MoS was a success because it broke even and was successfully, but this same Snyderbots are shouting that Superman is a flop despite breaking even and making profits inspite of the unfavorable condition it was released in, and despite crushing MoS in multiple areas 😂 😂 😂. I will always say it, if Superman is a flop, MoS is a flop. But if MoS is a success due to breaking even and making profits, then Superman is successful. You can't have it both ways 😂😂😂 [color=#000099]#Xavier[/color |
phr0nesis:Yeah, but I intentionally didn't factor that in because the audience tend to be different unlike F4 that had the same CBM audience with Superman, audience that got splitted... and ended up affecting the BO performance of both films. Marvel Studios na werey aswear, what happened to one month gap 😒 Unlike MoS that was sitting in a comfortable spot; 6 weeks apart from Iron Man 3 and The Wolverine respectively, and yet only grossed $668M. But despite this, Snyderbots were arguing that MoS is a success because of breaking even and making profits, but when it comes to Superman which has broken even and made profits, mouth change 😂. Some people are truly delusional 😂. The fact remains, if Superman is a flop, MoS is a flop. But if MoS is a success due to breaking even and making profits, then Superman is successful. They can't have it both ways. That's the Snyderbots dilemma 😂. Either way, the argument isn't in their favour 😂 #Xavier |
Hohenheim:Bro the thing dey funny like hell. But the question is, when have Snyderbots ever being logically coherent and consistent 😂. They think their bubble world is reality... 😂 Imagine comparing MoS which had favourable conditions, no comic book competitions, and four months in theater, and still ended grossing $668M, to Superman that had unfavorable conditions, comic book competition from F4, and just 35 days in cinema. Between both movies, which one should naturally gross higher? But despite that, Superman still outperform MoS in multiple areas 😂. They should better thank F4 for negatively affecting Superman worldwide gross 😂 Imagine if Iron Man 3 was released two weeks after MoS... and imagine if F4 was released six weeks before or after Superman as was with the case of Iron Man 3 and The Wolverine respectively with MoS... 😂 Snyderbots don't know that if Superman is a flop, MoS is a flop, and if MoS is a success due to breaking even and making profits, Superman is a success. I wonder how they will deal with this dilemma 😂 #Xavier |
Left Nairaland for like two weeks only to come and see multiple mentions from one unhinged Snyderbots, his claim; Superman flopped 😂😂😂 Flopped ke, a movie that; ** Was released in an unfavorable condition due to; --- being the first movie of a controversial DCEU reboot hence having to deal with DCEU baggage --- Released in an era when the DC film brand is weak ** Having a comic book competition from F4 ** Only had 35 days in theater ** And had broken even and made profit, not to talk of the positive critical and audience receptions. Unlike MoS that had all the advantages due to; ** Being released in a favourable condition due to; --- DC having a strong film brand --- Riding on the success of TDK trilogy --- Having Christopher Nolan being involved in it as its producer and scriptwriter ** Having no comic book competition; Iron man 3 was released 6 weeks before, and The Wolverine was released 6 weeks after. ** Being in cinema for a whooping 4 months Due to this advantages the studio, media and industry analyst were expecting a billion grosser, but yet the movie only ended up grossing $668M, followed by non-positive critical and audience receptions 😂. Imagine spending four freaking month in cinema (coupled with all the favourable condition you were released in), and all you could gross is $668M 😂 Imagine MoS had being released in 2025 with all the unfavorable condition, imagine how big a flop it would have been 😂 Unlike Superman, that despite its unfavorable condition still ended up crushing MoS in multiple areas; ** Opening day ** Opening weekends ** Total domestic gross ** Critical and audience reception And it would have crushed MoS worldwide gross if not for the release of F4. So Snyderbots should go organize a thanksgiving service for F4 😂 And here's the reality; ** Superman crushed MoS in multiple areas, despite the unfavorable condition it was released in. Snyderbots should thank F4 for the gift... the gift of Superman not out grossing MoS 😂 ** Superman broke even and is profitable, thus meeting the expectations of Gunn, Zaslav and Safran ** Superman had positive critical and audience reception, one that MoS, despite the favourable condition it was released in, could only dream of ** With the good performance of Superman, the DCU is here to stay whether Snyderbots like it or not 😂. Zaslav and Gunn has made that clear. ** The first two DCU films (Creature Commandos and Superman) had positive reception unlike that of the Snyder's DCEU (MoS and BvS, two mega films for that matter) that had non-positive receptions. ** The Snuderverse is dead, gone and forgotten, and there's nothing... absolutely nothing that Snyderbots can do about it, aside hating and wailing 😂 And one more thing, if Superman is a failure, MoS is a failure, but if you argue MoS is a success in terms of breaking even and being profitable, then Superman is a success . So try to be logically consistent, you can't have it both ways 😂Now I'm just hyped for the DCU plans Gunn has in place... 😎 #Xavier |
abduleez1:It's only people that don't understand Christian sexual values that will be seeing this as a bad film. What is wrong for an Evangelical Christian woman to like sex? Liking sex isn't anti Christian values, it's pro it. The question should be what specific story is it telling. Is it telling the story of; * Sin and redemption. * Unrestricted marital sex. * The promotion of LGBTQ+ rights in the secular society while acknowledging the LGBTQ+ lifestyle, and homophobia, as sinful in the Christian context. * The glorification of promiscuity. * Or the promotion of queer sexuality as non-sinful in the Christian context. If it's the first three, then there's nothing wrong with the film. Yes, it would be controversial, but it won't be wrong because it upholds Christian values. Even the bible is sexually explicit (e.g Song of Solomon), but nevertheless, it never promotes what it terms sexual immorality, neither does Christ and the Apostles (the doctrinal foundations of Christianity) promote or support homophobia. But if it's the last two, then he should get ready for the backlash due to shitting on Christian sexual values. It won't go well with the film. So I hope he does any of the first three, and not the last two, at least, wisdom demands he does it. But either way, as far as the film is sexually explicit, it would be controversial, but as far as it does the first three, hence upholding Christian sexual values, it would do fine, the controversy will help it... high probability. But all in all, good luck with him getting the funding. #Xavier |
Hohenheim:My own na make em gross minimum of $671M. I wan enter Snyderbots WhatsApp group. Currently at $551M... so minimum of $120M to go, all this in just 3 to 4 weeks, unlike MoS wey take 4 months to see $668M, and 12 years to add extra $2M to finally enter $670M 😂. Snyderbots worse nightmare go soon happen 😎😂 #Xavier |
Hohenheim:Galactus wey em GPS don spoil? 😂😂😂 #Xavier |
Hohenheim:@bolded Worst time to be a Snyderbot, worse time indeed... 😂😂😂 And I will always say it, if the minority think that opinion matters, who are we to object their delusion. And also, if a group wants to deny the data and reality, who are we to object their delusion 😂🤡🤷 #Xavier |
Indeed... these are good times, good times indeed... 😌 #Xavier

Superman has grossed $510.7M (via Wikipedia... see screenshots below). According to Forbes and TheWraps, the movie needs to gross between $400M and $500M to break even, so going with this Intels, Superman has broken even. Currently, I'm anticipating it to gross $671M to $700M to shut up some yada yada people (I didn't call names, if you're mad, it's your conscience, not me 😏). In addition, my Superman rating, 7.5/10. #Xavier

Fantastic Four: First Steps has grossed $218M worldwide, with $118M domestically, falling behind Superman's gross... but who gives a shit about that, CBMs are back!!! 😎✊. These are really good news for DC and Marvel after the back to back flops they've be having (especially DC). This goes a long way to show that the genre and respective brands still have the audience interest and trust, or at least, they've been reignited, likewise the bright futures ahead. But my question still remains, what the hell were Marvel thinking releasing F4 the same month as Superman knowing the BO implications of such? What happened to late August? ![]() Anyways, my Superman rating, 7.5/10. #Xavier

abduleez1:If it's not public, then how this guys take know? My own be say make dem allow this movie breathe... make dem no sabotage this movie ohhh... 😒 #Xavier |
abduleez1:Must they announce it publicly? This corporate niggas be out there looking for means to sabotage the BO performance of this film... like they did The Batman in 2022 😒🙄 #Xavier |
